Beautiful toy ,but..
It’s a beautiful, well made toy and our toddler lives turning the crank and putting the toy figures in the car. But the base is too narrow so the Ferris wheel falls over when she turns the crank. To remedy this I bought a 9 inch hollow wood oval on Amazon, painted it and attached it to the Ferris wheel with wood screws (see photo) and now she plays with it as intended.

High quality, beautiful colors, the kids love it
This Ferris Wheel is absolutely adorable. The simple design and vibrant colors mix beautifully with the natural wood. This is a very solid toy. It is well made, I am impressed with the quality. The handle is sturdy and easy to turn, the wheel glides around smoothly. The little animals that come with it have sweet friendly faces and are solid, perfect for tiny hands and big imaginations. The animals easily fit in the baskets and stay in while the wheel is moving. I can have peace of mind knowing at the paint is non-toxic and water-based. I like that this toy has no assembly required, a bonus for parents. My 1, 3 and 5 year old all stay entertained playing with this simple toy. I love the simplicity and quality of this toy. This is definitely a classic toy that they will keep coming back to. We are very happy with this and highly recommend it.

beautiful, but arrived broken.
what a disappointment it was when i set this out alongside my toddlers easter basket, to learn the crank didn’t spin the ferris wheel. the product itself is beautiful, feels very sturdy and is of high quality- there’s no complaints there. regrettably, my little guy won’t be waking to find this adorable piece, as it’s packed back in its box, ready to be shipped back to the manufacturer.

Really Cute Toy
I really enjoyed playing with this. Just a really cute "as you expect it" toy to get and mess around with. My kids love stuff like this so it was easy to show it to them and watch them spin it/throw random objects in it as tiny experiments. Would be nice to build a whole circus or theme park with these kinds of toys. The quality of the build is good. The wood makes it so it's less likely to feel harsh to the touch or make you worry too much about it falling apart. Good product overall I think.

Beautiful toy
This is a really nice looking ferris wheel toy, and the kids really seemed to enjoy it. The painted detail is great, and the wooden design just looks really nice. The ferris wheel has three carriages/buckets, and you get three wooden figurines that can sit on the ride. There's a wooden crank on the side to let you turn the ferris wheel. It's pretty easy to spin the wheel too fast to cause the figurines to fly out, so this toy is probably best enjoyed by kids who have some control over their motor skills. The three buckets also freely swing. It'd be nice if the buckets and the wheel itself have some resistance, so that they don't move so easily, but I imagine that would add some complexity to the toy. Overall, it's a beautiful children's toy for the price.

A work of beauty!
I absolutely love the way this Petit Collage looks -- it's a work of art worthy of display, according to my wife. At first, I was somewhat disappointed with major aspects of the Ferris Wheel -- the crank mechanism design isn't easy to turn, there's rough spots on the wood due to inadequate sanding, and animals were too hard to take out of the gondolas. After watching my 2.5 year old son play with it though, all reservations melted away. He loves it! The animals are adorable, high quality solid wood, and very detailed. He already knows the names "panda", "rabbit", and "kitty cat" and calls them by name as he plays with them. I don't like the functioning of the crank handle. It's awkward and you have to hold the base if you don't want the whole thing falling over. It should've been designed to operate more fluidly -- maybe using ball bearings. I just let him play with it in an unguided way and watched in surprise as he held the bottom of the Ferris Wheel with one hand and rotated the crank with the other. He figured it out on his own. Also without prompting, he matched the color on the animal's shirt with the color of the gondola, putting each animal in the corresponding seat. Taking the animals out is still often tricky, even for little hands and it can be frustrating to a young child. I have to help and show him how to tip the gondola over so they animal falls out. There's tons of room for imaginative play. As kids will do, he incorporated the animals into his larger toy universe, putting them on top of a stunt car ramp, and in cars, saying "animals going Acme" (the name of our town supermarket), etc. As far as packaging and materials, this Petit Collage toy is one of the best examples of zero-waste packaging I've ever seen. The entire packaging is paper-based and recyclable. The ONLY thing to throw away is a small twist tie, which you can use for garbage bags or some other purpose. The back of the box claims 99% recyclability, although I don't know if that's true. For entire toy is plastic-free and uses plywood and some metal screws, but what about the paint? 5 stars for cuteness and visual appeal, 4 stars for some rough spots that need more thorough sanding and the poor crank assembly.

High quality ferris wheel
This is a really good quality wooden toy. To me as an adult, this seems pretty pointless. You spin the thing around and that's it. But kids love it. Our 1yo likes to take the animals out. There's a nice matching aspect to it as kids get older. It's fun for them to learn how to make it go around. A bit pricey for what it is, but it looks great on a toy shelf and will last a long time.
