My cats love them in winter.
I’ve used these for several years. I sometimes put them inside a sturdy basket and fold the top down over the basket for a soft kitty head rest.!My cats like them in cold weather.

Don't waste your money
Great concept, poor execution. Cheap feeling, barely softer than a steel wool pad, no padding whatsoever. My cat put holes in it the first day. A free cardboard box holds up better! Very disappointing!!

Updated review: Cats are obsessed with it!
The media could not be loaded. Updated: I had to update my review and give this thing 5 stars because even though I don't think the quality of the material is good all three of my cats are obsessed with this. Ever since the day we got it all three lay on it all the time! And they have plenty of things to lay on so they must love this thing. So who cares if I like it or not, it's cat approved. Original: My cats love this thing but the fabric that it is made of is a joke, it's so thin and has a scratchy feeling to it. It's literally the cheapest fabric I could imagine. It is listed for $20.99 which is outrageous for such a cheap item. But, all three of my cats love it so I'm giving it three stars. I know it will come apart at any time though so I have to take off two stars because of the bad quality.

Was a hit with my cats
My cats liked this bed. Its on the rough side. But I have hairless cats and they love to roll on rough things. It fit one cat comfortably but two squeezed into it. It is reversible, not sure if that was intentional or not. It was easy to wash by just throwing it in the washer. I don’t know if it attracts hair or dander as my cats are hairless. Instead of leaving hair on their bedding they leave grease spots. Their grease spot came out with ease after a wash. My cats used it in the tunnel option and the normal bedding option.

Hmmm – was expecting more…
This, in theory is a cute idea. The execution falls short, though. First – it is truly collapsible material with no real rigidity to it – so you sort of have to work at it to make the open basket. It also seems pretty impossible to get it to stay open or upward when laying on its side. Plus, the material sort of reminds me of a loosely-knit filter material – it is not soft at all and sort of spongy but thin. There is no padding either. My cat is 13 pounds and I am sure she could fit but she had no interest in this thing whatsoever as she has other tunnels and beds she much prefers. This may be a good thing for kittens, though – as they will feel it is big and want to explore and play with it. If you found my review helpful, why not click the “helpful” button. Thanks! No real padding, but cat loves it.
You can see from the picture, the cat is kind of out of the pitty's bed. I am not crazy about the bed. It's too light weight and we had to turn it inside out for it to keep its shape. However,... The cat loves the bed and I quess that is what counts in the end. The price is a little too high at $22. There is not real padding so we put it on the dog bed. It can't tell a out the shedding attraction because neither the cat nor the pitty are shedding right now.

Imagine a large dryer sheet shaped into a tubular cat bed
As you can see from the photo provided, my cat didn’t enjoy this bed but my dog weirdly did! He rolled all around on it and tried to tear it apart by ripping off little chunks of the material. The material feels like a thick dryer sheet shaped into a cat bed. My cat likes more soft beds that he can make biscuits on. It doesn’t have any padding on the bottom. It’s really like a cheap material basket. I think I’m going to make a winter tub for stray cats and put this inside of it with a blanket on the bottom. At least a stray cat would appreciate it. The material is just really cheap and you can definitely get a nicer bed for the same price. I’ve had k&h brand items in the past and they are usually well made but this one didn’t pass the test

a real snuggle bed
I have several rescue cats that love to sleep in a cat bed. They seem to like this one the best. Most of them prefer a particular bed, but this one is home for all of them. It is easy to keep clean and it is washable
