By far ideal to use

It’s an approved tool for ISP’s and TV providers and I highly recommend it

The 4in1 stripper that was included in my fusion splice kit was defective or just no good and it kept cutting the fiber, and the middle hole was too big and wouldn’t strip. My manager assume maybe I was doing something wrong. If that is the case, then I guess it is safe to assume that this Jonard, JIC 375 is idiot proof because it strips the fiber clean without any effort or damaged and I love it.

Very nice for the price.

These strippers have worked perfectly for me on both single and multimode fiber. I didn't have to adjust my pair at all, unlike some of the other reviews. (The only minor problem I had has been stripping off the cladding of some bare fiber in very cold outdoor conditions (near freezing), breaking the fiber while trying to strip. However, I think this is more due to the fiber being more brittle in the cold; when I warmed it up it worked fine without breaking. The only other thing I can think of is maybe the metal of the tool contracts enough from the cold to make the stripping too tight. In any case, work in a room-temperature environment or warm things up and you should be fine.) I have had the best success holding the tool at about 45 degrees relative to the fiber, instead of directly perpendicular to it. Would definitely recommend this tool and buy it again if needed. Seems to be very good quality for the price, not the usual Chinese "junk" that seems to flood the market...

High Quality and Reliable fiber optic stripper for home use

I bought this to run fiber optics cable throughout my house. This tool turned out to be a heck of a lot more reliable than the similar-looking but only two-hole stripper that came with the cheap "fiber optics installation kit" I purchased from Amazon's marketplace. I was able to reliably strip fiber optical cables to install dozens of fiber optic terminations. The three holes/notches aligned perfectly to the size of my cable to allow clean stripping of the outer sheathing, inner sheathing, and acrylic coating on the core fiber. In contrast, I was only able to get about 30 or 40% reliability stripping with the two-hole stripper that came with my cheap installation kit. This tool definitely saved me a lot of frustration and has been worth the purchase.

Fibre strippers, stick to millers

2nd hole stripper cuts right through the 250um coating and snaps the fibre. I was unable to adjust the grub screw.

Good Stripper

I got one of these as part of a work provided pack for my fibre optic training. The one i got was heavily used and was really difficult to strip with. It still worked but it was pretty clear it needed adjustment. When I purchased my own tools for the job i decided to go with the same brand and purchased this one. Right out of the package it worked flawlessly without snapping the lines I was working on or getting stuck on the jacket the way the old one did. So far super happy with this buy.

En fibra óptica de Orange y Red Abierta es perfecto! En la de Movistar aun no la he probado. Esta última es mas dificil de pelar, pero creo que sin problema.
