This Bilge is alot smaller than you think
I seen it was 1000 or 1100 gpm, I thought it would be suitable for 28 foot boat. When I got it, it was small and had 5/8" or 3/4" hose outlets. My boat had 1 1/8" outlet. This pump looks small like a 500-800gpm. I'll install this pump in my 20' boat eventually but I lost outlet screw on nipple. I can get a water hose nipple at hardware store I think? After installation, I can reply on operation.

Great product!
Everything works as designed and I have already witnessed the auto pump working due to my leaky boat. The wiring diagram is not very clear for those of us who wish to use an existing switch but still allow the float to turn the pump on.

New model doesn’t match previous model
Doesn’t match holes and check valve doesn’t fit inside pipe. Also, the wiring that comes with it is incorrect if you have a 2 wire connection( positive and negative). Install positive lead to float switch and then to pump(+) connect negative to both connections(-)

Float switch doesn’t work properly
I had the last version of this pump and I loved it. Still worked fine after 10 or so years. Replaced it just as preventative maintenance. Older version had a different style switch then this one that worked great. This new float style switch is complete JUNK. I’ve been through 2 now and neither work properly. First trip out, made it to the cabin and the pump is running with no water in sight. Float switch kicks the pump on with just normal boating motion and once the pump kicks on, occasionally it will not turn off. I thought maybe it was a timer situation but the pump just kept running until I tapped the side of the switch housing and it finally turned off. Tried manually cycling the switch and sure enough, every 5 or so cycles, it would stick on even though the switch was in the off position. Give it a tap or two and it would shut off. Just replaced it with the 2nd switch and it does the same thing. My boat stays in the water several month of the year so can’t trust it to not kill my batteries and burn up the pump while I’m not around. Mounting the old switch back on to get me through till I can buy something else.
