Works well despite some issues.
Upon delivery I though I had received a previous return due to the shape of the box (pictured) and the haphazard internal packaging. I have a 1617EVS that is supposed to fit (and it did eventually). I loosened the screw as the directions instructed. However I found that the router did not fit. In the two close up pictures with the router you can see a gap at the front of the mounting hardware and where it is tight at the back. I was able to seat the router by inserting it at an angle. The lift is smooth and the lock is solid. I have the Krieg router table which has its own leveling screws which worked well to level the plate. The corner mounting screws do not line up with the Krieg table. However, during operation the plate has some vibration but nothing that effected the cut. If the packaging and initial router fit was better this would be 5 stars.

Fits Kregg Precision Router Table - sort of
Everything on this lift is great except that the four hold down bolts in the corners of the lift do not match up to the hole locations in the Kreg table top. If you are buying this lift the chances are good that you have the skills to manufacture your own solution for this issue and even if you don't the lift with router is stable in the table even without the bolts. The Kreg leveling system does work with this lift but the Jessem system does not work in the Kreg table top. You only need one leveling system but if you want to use the Jessem system then you can design a solution for that at the same time you solve the hold down bolt issue. Would easily be a 5 star+ review if Jessem sent adaptor plates to fit in the other brand table tops... or even made them available for purchase but I don't see any commercially available solution. UPDATE - Jessem returned my call and they do offer a set of corner pads that are supposed to make their lift fit in the Kreg Precision router table. It is Jessem Part# 02027 and can be found at their website with a search or in the Router Accessories section. The problem is it costs $28 with another $23 shipping so pretty pricey for 4 little pieces of aluminum, but at least its there.

Instructions could be better
This is very well made. BUT... NO template and a detailed description of all routers it works with not just the best ones would be great for ppl like me who will very rarely use this.... I am otherwise VERY happy!

Fantastic!
Everything it claims. Super smooth operation. Love the locking mechanism and ease of changing bits above table. Definitely don't need anything bigger/more expensive unless you want to install a 3 hp router.

Been wanting to upgrade for awhile
I have been wanting to upgrade to a router lift over my home made unit that used a scissor jack. The lift was a pretty easy install and works exactly as I had hoped. Full disclosure when looking at it on the Amazon page they had a promotion for the Prime Card with quite a large incentive so it was foolish to not apply and then use the discount. Immediately after ordering I paid the balance on the card so in the end I only paid $86.00.

Great lift!
A little expensive but well worth the investment . I’ve used this nonstop since I installed it on my table saw workstation. Makes routing so much easier, efficient and stress free. Making the template is a task but can be done. If you’re in a hurry I might add the template to save time. Or save $40 and make it yourself. Highly recommend this Jessem router lift.

Buyer Beware
I had some issues with this lift. Nothing that could not be resolved. However, in emails to/from Jessem Customer Support they made it clear that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for Jessem products purchased from Amazon because they only sell to distributors. If the distributors decide to sell on Amazon, you are on your own. Jessem does not back their products sold on Amazon by their distributors. Really? Here is an excerpt of an eMail from Jessem Customer Support on 3-3-2023: "As I have said, JessEm Tool does not ship our products to Amazon to sell. We cannot guarantee quality as we don’t know the history of the products purchased from that online company. "

The price is AMAZING...
The workmanship on this unit is stupendous... I love to machine parts myself, I have a milling machine and a gear lathe so I'm here to tell you I couldn't produce this part as a hobbyist for less than triple the price in time and materials. Some are also complaining that you have to buy a separate router motor, well duh!!! If you're buying this for the advantage of a stationary tool, then bite the bullet and get the biggest router motor you can afford. I bought a Dewalt DW618 x 2 1/4 hp. As for missing insert rings, you can find a full set of 9 plus a holding tray at around $50. but the ones included with the lift will get you started quite adequately. You can also buy a set of 4 blanks to drill your own custom sizes. I will also be buying a couple of Dewalt router bases for that new router motor... A plunge base and a D-base... So yes, I'm a bit of a tool freak but that doesn't negate the fact that I think this router lift is a real BARGAIN. EastCoast Woodworker

Muy bien, pero…
Funciona muy bien, los únicos inconvenientes son que la llave hexagonal para la profundidad no viene exactamente a la medida, es un poco grande, a lo cual tuve que rebajar un poco con una lima. Lo otro es que los espesores de la placa difieren por muy poco, aún así se puede nivelar con los opresores. Por lo demás trabaja muy bien.

Emballage très mauvais
Le produit a été posé à l’envers et 2 axes en acier de cette machine étaient passés à travers le carton et reposaient à même le sol car le produit lourd se promenait librement dans sa boite. Par chance, le produit n’en a pas été endommagé et est conforme à mes attentes.
