Grandson loves it!
We gave this to our grandson for his 9th birthday, and he loves it! At first, he put it together as directed in the instructions. But now he likes to make his own creations that light up and move. Such a great gift!

Great toy/gift
I like it and my kids (5 and 3) love it. They learned how the circuits works in those bloks and now they are building different rovers and other machines that move and have lights. They love playing with "space sounds" and recordings. Overal it's a great toy. Something new. Plastic could be more sturdy but so far nothing broke.

Great toy, but P2 not working
This is a birthday gift for my son, who really loves it. But one of the batteries does not work (P2). Is there a way to get a replacement?

Intensely interesting for short time
I was so excited because this seemed versatile and like a great deal for my kiddo who is obsessed with science, engineering, and how electronics work, but this toy did not endure long in our house. My 6-year old loved this right away and played with it for 3–5 hours one evening and the following morning, but once he made all the things, he lost interest. We shall try getting it out again in a couple of months and see if the inspiration takes. By contrast, “snap circuits” have held his intense attention for several play/building sessions.

Perfect to complete set for Christmas
My grandson, 5 years old, has the rocket and wanted the dock set. The rocket series he has is very nice and sturdy. Cant wait to see what he thinks from Santa.

Needs patience
Fortunately we had purchased the smaller two sets previously. This one took patience to put the base together. Our 8-year-old grandson was very frustrated trying to get the pieces to lock together. Once his grandfather and I built the base, he has loved playing with all the features in this model.

Provides hours of fun and learning STEM skills!
This is one of the best toys we have ever bought for our 6 year old. It keeps her occupied for HOURS! She loves building things so I knew she would love this set. All the pieces are high quality and durable. I love that she is learning new things like how to build a circuit and she thinks it is the coolest thing ever! I love that this set is helping her to learn STEM skills even in kindergarten! She also loves to imaginative play with the astronaut and robots. This is also a fun way for her to use her creativity skills. I am always trying to find fun and educational toys for her to do and I’m so glad I came across this set. She did need some help with some of the pieces but I love that this set will grow with her and she can use it for many years to come! This is the perfect set especially for her right now as she is doing virtual learning and I’ve been trying to find ways for her to have fun learning but keeps her away from the computer/TV/iPad. Highly recommend this. It is the perfect birthday, holiday and just because gift!

Circuit Breaker
My children love building block toys and have plenty of the Scandanavian company that should not be named, but it is also nice to play with some of the rivals as they often have unique ideas as they hope to carve their own place in the market. 'Circuit Explorer Deluxe Base Station' has building elements but has the addition of circuits that will make elements light up, if built correctly. To do so you follow the instructions and keep on the sides of the toy that have circuit patterns. The toy is aimed at six years, and this is spot on. It is a toy that will entertain for around that year group only as it is too complex for the small and too basic for older kids. If you can hit that sweet spot, this is a very clever idea that makes something like Duplo a little more complex, but still manageable for a child who enjoys building. The blocks are well made and the circuitry all lines up. This toy is one for a family looking for a different type of building blocks that have a little added education to them.

Fantastic fun introduction to science!
Woah this set is seriously cool! It’s almost a bit like Lego with the construction and instructions with the added bonus of connecting lights, sounds and motion. The instructions were easy to follow and my 6 year old daughter followed it well with some help. Once built the space car moves and lights up, the rocket lights up the panels on top spin and a few other things. She was amazed by it and had lots of questions. A fantastic and fun introduction to science. The only thing I would say is that a few of the things need working on like some of the wheels stay on and some fall off for some reason. It could also do with a tool to take it apart as some of the pieces are really hard to separate for kids once together. The set is larger than expected and brilliant quality, it’s a little pricey but it’s the sort of thing that would get used over and over and as they get older, I would highly recommend.

Rocket man
Now this is rather interesting. It's like Lego (of a sort) but with wires. As an exercise in circuitry, it works, as you have to build the items in order to connect them to the batteries to make it light up. At the special needs school the boss works at, this has gone down very well, as it's very self fulfilling for them to accomplish something like this. I have two issues with this. It's rather expensive, but is that expense alleviated by the pleasure the user gets? And, as always, there are no batteries included. Why, when anything electrical must have a plug attached, do they not include some cheap batteries to get things going?

Science made fun - ideal for sparking imagination
This Base Station (there are add on items available) is ideal for children aged 6 and above. If you recall science teaching in the past it was quite dry at times - my introduction to circuitry lit a tiny bulb and was actually quite boring. This huge set is similar to Lego construction but with added science built in. You create sounds, lights and motion - how exciting! Children learning through play is the best way to spark their imagination and scaffold their learning. This set is fabulous - I tested with a very eager 7 year old and we had great fun. Granddad is an electrician and he was super impressed how circuits were being introduced to children. The set is on the pricey side at £60 but I remain happy to recommend as this toy totally supports STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) which is an area children need to be introduced to and their interest sparked⚡️ I hope you find this review helpful ????

Great educational toy
This is a really good toy for any children interested in science or how things work. My 6 year old is obsessed with figuring out how things work properly so it was really good for him to be able to build and experience it himself. The instructions were quite clear and he was able to follow them well with a small amount of support. The toy itself works well when put together and he had a real sense of pride when he managed to build something that moved and made sound all on his own. The set was also slightly larger than expected when it is built so that was a welcome surprise.
