Prepare for dent

This 2 quart pot is not as heavy/thick aluminum as the frying pan I got, and it gets shipped in a bag rather than a box. So it’s inevitable that the edge gets bent during shipping. I returned the first one for exchange because it was dented beyond my ability to straighten. The second also arrived dented but I could straighten it to almost perfectly round and I’m keeping it. I will use it for camping occasionally rather than every day use, it is light and the right size, cleans easily(except the label is a bit of a pain to get off the outside), and seems durable. So I recommend it if you’re prepared to deal with these issues.

I knew it was a cheap pot when I bought it; didn't know they'd sabotage their own product

I bought this pot because it was the cheapest one I could find that was big enough to hold the door hinges that I wanted to boil in water and baking soda to loosen a couple layers of paint. I figured it'd be better not to use anything we might subsequently cook food in, since I had no idea what sort of chemicals might linger on the surface of the pot. So, to put it mildly, I had very low expectations and very low standards. What I hadn't expected was that it would arrive with a label stuck on the bottom with some sort of glue that would take a good 15 minutes of scrubbing with Goo-Gone to remove. I mean, how much adhesive do you need to keep a label on the bottom of a pot? Whatever glue they used was pretty resistant to Goo-Gone, too, so I had to work to get it off. If I were using it to cook food in, I think I might have hesitated to use Goo-Gone, which would have left me with a much tougher job. In the end, it did what I bought it to do -- held boiling water. But if I'd known what a chore I was looking at, I'd have spent a couple extra bucks!

MULTIPLE PIN HOLES IN THE BOTTOM

I bought this pan to hold hot water for cleaning dentures. I own a dental lab that makes dentures. We fill the pan with hot water from our Keurig. It's never even been on a burner. I didn't notice the holes till after the return date. It's only a few months old.

Good value for money

Like it overall - just wish the liquid would not spill while pouring it - wish it had a spout. But it is lightweight and the water for my tea boils fast which is what I was looking for.
