Perfect

Perfect for our white/grey marble countertops. Hides water hard water spots but super easy to clean anyway.

I originally bought some in 2018. Still using them and am now buying more. I'm washing so many more dishes and pots during this pandemic and need extra space for items to dry. They are the first ones I have found that aren't gray. My counters are white, and this blends in nicely. Easy to clean by handwashing or throwing into the dishwasher. Some reviews gave low ratings for the hook and hole in the mat. People were having a really difficult time removing the screw that held the packaging and hook in place. The hook is to allow the mat to hang from store display hooks. The plastic screw can simply be unscrewed to remove it and the hook revealing a hole in the mat. This hole is actually in the raised edge of the mat and not in the bottom of the mat, so no water will leak out onto your counter that collects in the mat...as some reviewers may have thought. You can check the photos that others have posted for details. Overall, they serve their purpose, look great, and can be easily stored away without taking up much room since they lay flat or can be rolled or folded. Two thumbs up from me!

Use a screwdriver to take out the hook that everyone is complaining about

Comes with a hook screwed into a hole (that many others have complained about). If you look at both round parts that secure the hook to a hole, you will see that each has a slot into which you can fit a small screwdriver. Use a small screwdriver to unscrew the hook. You should be able to simply use your fingers to keep the round part opposite the one you are unscrewing with a screwdriver still, but if not, use a second screwdriver to keep it still while you use the first screwdriver to unscrew it. The resulting hole is in a raised portion of the mat, so that water does not spill from the mat onto our counter. And you can use the hole to hang the mat to dry. And if you want, now that you know how to take off the hook, you could simply screw it back on to hang the mat dry

Great Product

I LOVE this Mat. The quality is VERY Good! However I do think they are overpriced. I paid $15-something for it. Even as I purchased I thought this is too much for a silicone mat...but it was one of the only frosted clear mats I could find in this size so I got. I have not regrets because it is really really good quality. I just think the price point is too high comparing to other similar caliber mats. Also the only other thing is that it comes with a hook attached. If you notice in the picture there is whole on one end that plug looking thing is the backend of a hook that can be turned in and not visible thus it's not in the picture. I can't seem to remove the hook. The snap on the back side does not pull off and the silicone cannot be pulled around it. The hook and plug are also good quality so they are thick! Thus the mat does not lay completely flat but that does not seem to be a problem, even with wine glasses on it they all seem stable. I just would like to be able to remove it! If it weren't for the price point & the hook I would give this mat 5 stars. I really doe love the mat itself. The quality is fantastic

Great mat, but a deal-breaker stupid hook attached.

A silicone counter mat as large as this one is difficult to find locally, even at large specialty housewares stores, so I was pleased to find this on amazon. The mat itself should get 5 stars, it’s well made and helps keep my counters safe from spills and heat. I know because I’ve ordered this type of mat several times and have been using them for years. But this one, as mentioned by another reviewer, comes with a hanging hook attached by a plastic post, that is nearly impossible to remove without damaging the mat itself. I couldn’t begin to remove it myself, and even my husband found it difficult to cut off. The grommet hole is too small to pry the post out. I’m assuming the hook is for merchandising as the mat would not lay flat without removing the hook and post, rendering it non-functional. This is the first time I’ve bought one with this silly thing on there, and would not do it again, as we got lucky not damaging the mat. Thus knocking of a star. I advise prospective buyers to seek a seller who can provide these with the hook and post removed.

Off coloration

These came in a two pack and one was a different shade of white. Other than the one not blending perfectly with my white countertop, I like them! But I expected them to be the same color. So… that doesn’t make sense.

It's Designed With A Hole Right In It!

True Rating: 3.5 CONS: 1) The packaging is insane! There's a plastic "screw" that attaches the cardboard display which took me nearly 5 minutes to remove and I'm pretty sure I ruined a pair of scissors doing it. 2) There's a hole designed right into it. WHY?! If you have plans on using this to keep water off of something, it could be a dealbreaker for you. I repurposed the "screw" and put it in the hole & hope that works. 3) This is NOT white. It's a transparent "frost". I'm not deducting any stars for this but figured I'd include it for anyone else that might miss that like I did! PROS: 1) Silicone 2) Perfect size for me I'm using this as a mat to put a pet drinking fountain on top of because one is a messy drinker and the other spends a lot of time playing in the fountain so I want to try to protect my floor.

very good mat

a bit smaller than I would prefer but this mat does its job very well! Nice looking at my white marble quartz kitchen island, almost transparent. Easy to clean , actually just lift and pour out the water. Wish I would have one more a bit bigger size.

Good size, we got the large and it's big enough to fit a few dishes on. It's sort of see through, you can see the pattern of the worktop underneath, which I like. The hook was so difficult to remove though!

Looks good and works well

I really didn't want a drying rack on my counters for aesthetic reasons but reality requires you handwash and air dry some things. This allowed me to have a big enough mat for most items in a color that blends with my white countertops. When I have nothing on it, I barely notice it because it doesn't stand out. It preserves the minimal look. This is the large mat on the photo although I have both sizes as they're also useful as trivets. Another plus is that I don't have to constantly buff out the water spots as you can't see them much against the white as opposed to when you have a darker silicone mat. We have hard water so this was something I had to be on top of before. The ridges provide enough dip for water to drain away from the items you're drying. Handy to have the holes as well. I have them hanging on a wire command hook behind my pantry door.

Its the perfect size for people who use the dishwasher for most of their dishes

I love the slightly translucent look. It's perfect except for the stupid hole for hanging.. it came with a hook I removed. I would much preferred the design without a hole but you can't always get what you want exactly. Of all the dish matts I looked at, this one definitely was the best.
