Easy Install and Works Well

Received this fan within 2 days of ordering from Amazon. It was boxed well with styrofoam packing material, so there was no damage to anything. I've always wanted a Hunter ceiling fan, so when the motor died on our living room fan, I decided to try the Hunter brand. The install was relatively simple, with the biggest pain being the blade assembly as with every fan kit I've ever installed. There was one highlight that stood out for this fan and that was having a connector built in for the light kit. That meant no wirenuts and wiring which really saved some time. I also have to mention that the fan kit came with LED light bulbs, so no trip to the store to buy bulbs. Once assembled, flipped the circuit breaker back on and it worked like a charm. The 42 inch blades seem to kick out as much air as the 52 inch blades on the fan being replaced. It is also very quiet as it should be. I would highly recommend this ceiling fan to anyone wanting a decent fan at a good price. Stay safe everybody.

Smooth running fan!!

The fan is easy to install, It's quiet and moves plenty of air on medium in a 10x10 room. On high It's a little louder but not intrusive, a wooshing sound. Very well balanced. I purchased two and just orderd a third for the wifes sewing room!

I wrote a review on this fan because it references a remote but does not say that it is not included in the box. This was recently helped by the seller in that they refunded a good portion of the money it cost to buy the recommended remote separately. They contacted me when they saw my comments as I did not realize the remote was not included until after the 30 day return policy. (t took me that long to get someone scheduled to put it up) I love the fan and the new remote as am handicapped and it makes operation much easier for me. Thank you VM Express Customer Experience Team for reaching out to me and changing a disappointing experience into a great one.

Powerful. Silent. Why you buy a Hunter.

This is a great fan. After installing a larger, much more expensive, remote control, Hunter fan in our bedroom, I decided to go with this pull-chain operated one to replace the failing generic fan in our den. I’m glad I did. On its highest setting, the fan is dead silent & moves significantly more air than the one it replaced. To my surprise, the light kit came with three dimmable LED bulbs. I’d guess their color temperature at around 3000K. Nobody asked me to write this review. But after reading numerous somewhat negative reviews, I felt compelled to give you my honest thoughts on the fan, for whatever they’re worth. Lastly, the assembled fan is perfectly balanced— no tweaking needed. I find it comical that Hunter included a balancing kit in the box.

No remote.

This fan is attractive, works great and was easy to install. The only problem was there was no remote included as the description said. I contacted Amazon and they compensated me without having to dismantle the fan and return it. My advice, make sure the remote is included before installing the fan. Unfortunately I still do not have a remote.

Fan Looks Awesome

Installed the fan in a bedroom to home office conversion. The fan looks great and is very quite when running in high speed. Does a great job circulating the air. The only issue was during installation. Two of the screw holes on the motor mounting bracket, had slightly galled threads, so screw would not thread in. I was able to use a tap to repair the damaged threads and complete the installation. We like the look of the hunter fan so much, we will look at replacing 2 other existing fans in the coming months. The price of the fan on amazon was also reasonable.

Easy to install, beautiful blade colors

I would love to give this ceiling fan five stars, but I cannot due to quality issues. The fan itself was exactly what I was looking for-- rustic look, open light fixtures, dark blades. It is quiet and has great speed options for the fan. My only complaint is that the one of the light fixtures broke after a few days of being installed. It broke out of nowhere, and to replace it, by husband and I had to spend 40$ to find a replacement (they only come in packs of five).

Decepcionado :-(

No es tan potente en su motor. No avienta el aire como lo esperaba. Me decepcionó. Esperaba más por el precio que pagué. Tengo dos ventiladores más en casa, En habitaciones diferentes, son otra marca (Westinghouse) y el aire que avientan es mucho mayor estando en la velocidad más baja, es más potente que Hunter. Esperaba que Hunter fuera más potente. Ésta es la razón por mi calificación.
