Great wood spoons!

The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is b/c on a couple of the spoons, there were a couple spots where the wood was splintered. They were all very, very small and pretty minor tho, so it really wasn't that big a deal. The colors are great too. And I really like the variety of spoons you get as well. Perfect size also.

Handles are painted on, which is what I expected but I saw has disappointed other buyers. Good, sturdy products.

Overall they are nice, and for the price

One of the flat spatulas has already split (like a significant chunk) despite my careful consideration to never leave wooden utensils sitting in standing water. Overall they are nice, and for the price, pretty cool.

Sometimes you just need the basics...

Sent these to junior, the would-be chef. Cheap at twice the price, but, he says they are sturdy for the cast-iron steak skillet or the teflon-coated fry pan. Easy to clean but don't put 'em in the dishwasher (he read the enclosed brochure! Amazing!). Now, if he can just teach his girl how to cook....

Quality not as expected

The quality was not what I expected. The color on the handle is painted on and the wood is thinner than I hoped for. But for the price, it would make a nice gift put with other items.
