Not waterproof

We live in the Sierra Mountains, where the snow has a high water content. Purchased these bibs because they were reported to be waterproof, but that is not the case. The bibs "wet out" in the seat. They could not hold up to 2 hrs of playing in the snow. We spend long days skiing and at $100 not worth it. Look else where for waterproof pants.
