Well made and entertaining

These are much thicker and sturdier than I was anticipating. They adhere well and are a nice large size. I keep a few in my purse and car because restaurants always have crayons, but I like that they won’t move or fall like a regular sheet of paper. My 18 month old twins love them and I will definitely purchase again.

I had an idea and this brought it to life

I appreciate how this has the non skit and it’s not paper paper? If that makes sense? It’s wouldn’t tear easily and it’s just perfect for kiddos

Strong, thick paper

These were great for our flight. They were bigger than the seat table but that was ok because they covered the sides too. My 3 and 6 year olds liked them a lot! Plus there are so many in a pack that I take them with us out to eat.

Not super sticky but still fun

I bought these for home so we could hopefully keep our toddler stationary for a few minutes every now and then. We planned to stick them to her highchair, but they really didn’t stick at all. That being said she was obviously still able to use them and color on them. We have some other plastic placemats for going out to eat that stick to the table and there are lines horizontally over the entire thing, but this is just one line at the top, bottom and sides, so I don’t know if they don’t stick because there isn’t much to stick? There are two different designs: a spaceship and a portrait with a few kids. One is outlined in blue and the other is yellow so you can see what you’re grabbing and bring some of each if you’re taking them somewhere which I thought was smart. They come folded nicely in a small pack, making them easy to throw in a purse or diaper bag for traveling. The paper is actually quite thick and of good quality. We’re happy with them overall even though we didn’t have success in getting them to stick to the table surface!

Lightweight durable and convenient

These placemats are incredibly durable considering they are disposable. They fold up nicely and have an adhesive backing you can remove when you’re ready to use. They really stay put well and are easy to apply and remove. I didn’t expect much from the surface for coloring but it actually takes crayon pigment pretty well! Im not sure exactly how sanitary these are but they’re likely better than a public table and make messes easy to clean up! I love that they’re easy to take along wherever we go.

Quick clean up

Well these are great. My wife and I have started using placemats for the younger kids meals. The thicker plastic ones seem to work better than the fabric because they don’t slide on them. Like many things though, they do require washing. We started talking about the disposable placemats that restaurants often give kids. When I started to hunt around I found these. These are NOT your typical paper restaurant placemat. They are thicker and they don’t rip. They are reinforced and can’t make a mess when they get food or wet like the paper ones do. Even better my youngest son gets to color on them. He adores coloring. To have a coloring sheet at your dinner spot is just the coolest to him. The borders and pictures are appropriate for boys and girls. They can add their own preference on colors anyway. My sons prefers marker and my youngest daughter has used both crayon and marker. They stay on the table with an adhesive. The sticky part is protected by little plastic strips. The plastic strips are ripped off to expose the stickiness. After the kids are done we just take them up and throw them away. My son has been a little hesitant to throw away his coloring but I just assure him he can make a new one at the next meal and he likes that. Plus no washing placemats for the parents. Also the table is left much cleaner. It’s a win-win.

Awesome Way to Stay Clean and Have Fun

The Healthy Habits by J.L. Childress Disposable ColorMe Placemats are awesome! These are made of a very sturdy paper that does not rip easily. There are three different designs included in the package. My 3 1/2 year old loves each of the designs. These are great for restaurants as they keep kids busy as well as getting their food off of the dirty table. My son used crayons with these and they worked great. While we were out eating I tried spilling a few drops of water on the placemat and I was very happy that the water did not soak through. Overall, I definitely recommend.

made from stone paper - durable, waterproof

The media could not be loaded. When I was deciding if I should get these I was honestly confused - what kind of paper or material is it to where you can color on it and it would also be durable enough to be used as a child's food placemat? I've only seen plastic versions of placemats but you can't color on that. I was definitely intrigued! I finally got these and realized this is "stone paper". Lately I've been getting quite a few children's books that are made from what they call "stone paper". It is made of calcium carbonate (limestone) and bio-polyethylene resin (HDPE). It is very durable and much harder (not impossible) to rip than standard paper. It is almost like ripping plastic - it will get all wrinkly but won't rip. This "paper" will crinkle but is practically waterproof - water just rolls off the material and it doesn't disintegrate the way paper does in water. I've also read that this type of "paper" is more eco friendly because of its sustainability aspect. It doesn't require fresh fibers to make like traditional paper, nor does it use chemicals like bleach or acid. It uses leftover "stone" that would have otherwise been discarded, which makes it "eco friendly" in a sense. All in all, from what I learned about stone paper, I like it. This pack has 3 different designs for coloring. The sticky portion does a good job of adhering to the table and seemed to work best on plastic (baby's high chair tray). The instructions say to color with crayons or markers - we didn't have color pencils at home otherwise I would have tested that out. Overall these placemats are awesome and won't disintegrate if your little one spills water on it. I highly recommend these!
