Indoor toy!!

If you bring her outside she just flies astronomically high!! Luckily when we tried we were at the park and she didn’t end up in any trees. In a path like a rainbow, she flies up up up and then rockets back to the grounds.

Neat but it crashes a lot

This thing crashes a lot you can keep it from hitting the floor with your hand but I haven’t found a way to keep it from flying into walls maybe it’s best out side the kids still love it tho

And off she goes, then 20 minutes later to the trash

These things are meh, the first time it took off it got caught in my daughters hair as she tried to run away from it. When we got it out, send it flying again. After slamming into a few walls the wings or whatever they are broke and it would not fly around. I guess take it outside and hope it doesn’t fly into the neighbors yard for a dog to eat? It has batteries so I would hope not.

Fun for everyone!

We gave this to my granddaughter for Christmas and we all enjoyed watching her play with it. It exceeded my expectations for its function and durability!

Customer service

Rarely write reviews, but for this I had to. Bought for granddaughter, worked once, then died. Would not charge. As Christmas gift she was heartbroken, but told her I would contact customer service. Long story short, their customer service is very good. Had to do a few emails back and forth but at the end of the day she received a replacement fairy that works great and she has lots of fun with.

Fun and innovative toy, but use with caution

I bought this doll, because of the low price, the novelty of the item, and out of curiosity to see, if the bad reviews were valid criticisms. The doll works as expected, if you use her properly. As others have stated, never take her outside. She should only be used with adult supervision until the child has enough experience with her to fly her properly. I have only used her inside, and the first couple of times she kept flying straight up to the ceiling with no indication she would come down. After a couple more times, I realized she has to be launched on her platform to fly properly. Her crystal egg seems to be designed to calibrate her sensors, so she only flies properly when launched from it. Grabbing her legs while she's flying is a little tricky, but a child should be able to do it easily after a while. She cannot hurt you with her wings, but to turn her off does require forcibly stopping her from spinning in order to switch her off. Aside from that, the doll is quite fun to play with. If she is tilted significantly, she will fly toward a wall quickly, but so far she seems very durable, because she has not been damaged ever when hitting a wall. She does shut off, if she hits a wall hard, so if a child is having trouble catching her, then she should stop flying, if she bumps too many things, or at least when her battery dies. Also, I would advise being careful with a child who has long hair. Others have stated the toy got caught in their hair, and while unlikely, I can certainly see how it's possible. Holding her sideways she spins faster than one of those water bottles with a fan on top, so be mindful of that.

Breaks too quickly

The fairy flies great, but the wings are way too delicate and break so quickly which then renders the toy useless as it will no longer fly. I wish they sold spare wings for it.

Lovely item but flimsy

Ordered as a gift for my granddaughter who absolutely loved it - which is why I've given it three stars. However it was purchased from Amazon but shipped from Italy and took around 10 days to arrive (though fun to track it across Europe). It's lovely to look at and flies quite well, but is very delicate and flimsy and when it falls - as sadly with kids is does - a wing, and then two fell of rendering it useless. Not really value for money.

Fantastic, was missing one piece

She was so excited and still loves is so much! Appreciate there are switches for it and it really was exciting. She was disappointed that the second egg wasn’t in the box like the box showed, she was too excited to wait for me to order another and return this one.
