great deal...

i was very happy with these...i bought a few differant brands and you can pay as high as $40-$50 for some..these are heavy warm type ...know that they are and are slighty thicker than some..good for cooler use...for thinner you just have look around...one brand was thinner and had great price but now is sold out...i am happy and will buy more ...really worth looking at good threads brands....like i said this is more on the heavy side of fabric...so for warmer weather look for thinner type...

Very warm

Goodthread does it again with this henley, which I got for the winter. It's quite good looking but not too boring (i.e., white) and it's well fitting (I'm 5'8, 150bs, and in good shape) - a bit form fitting which I like since I'm in pretty good shape. It's also pretty soft and can stretch out which gives you a nice look. I wear it indoors, as well as going out.

As Advertised, But Not Tops In Warmth

Exterior of shirt is a bit rough, but interior is acceptable. Not quite as warm as a waffle thermal shirt in this very cold Winter, but is fine for temps that are not sub-zero F. Initially seemed to shrink after washed and dried, but stretches back out as I put it on and wore it a few hours. Sleeves are a bit long (I'm 33/34"), but I roll the cuffs. A few uncut sewing threads here and there. At the lowered price, this was still a solid good deal~!

Comfy But Shrinkable

My upper body is in that weird size category that’s kind of a small and kind of a medium. When I buy t-shirt-like garments, I tend to go for the medium to make sure the shoulders and chest are wide enough, and the arms are long enough. Brand new, these shirts are great. The fabric is a nice soft knit, and the colors are true to the listing pictures. The sizing is spot on for a medium as well. Unfortunately, loose knits are too susceptible to dryer shrinkage, so the length of the shirt body as well as the arms were shortened by enough that they approach small territory. If you air dry instead of tumble dry, you may not have that same issue.

Great product that's even better because of the price...

I wear thermals almost constantly in colder months. What surprised me was the obvious degree of warm more than the brand I had purchased several of in the past. No reason to pay more now after trying this. The only thing I would do different is go up a size. Size is such a contentious issue because different brands vary widely in length of sleeves and of trunk. I fit either a large or extra large and have immediately regretted buying XL's of several brands because the sleeves were way down past my wrist. I like the cuff to be above the write or snug so it won't travel downwards. Recommended, but if you're wondering about whether you should get a larger size, I would and I will next time.

I like the shirt, but after a couple of washes the sleeves shrink. Not great "tall" size.

Everything is good apart from the seam on the shoulder

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for but the seam on one of the shoulders was really badly joined so it rose up like a tectonic plate. I saw the same criticism in another review but was hoping it was a one-off. The fact it wasn't means they are selling these knowing that they are substandard....and therefore wasting everyone's time as they get returned. Come on if there's a manufacturing problem sort it out. If you want a review for your products then listen to what the customer says or you lose them

My sons very favourite shirts.

I have noticed when we review times we have purchased, it says "Amazon verified purchase". I very much it included a number, because this says more than anything how much we really like an item. If that were the case for this item, it would say 5x, though I have bought different colours. We started out with brand name Henley type shirts. I especially like the thermal knit ones. Something about this type of knit that traps heat when worn under a coat, or under the covers, but it remains breathable when it gets hot. Though we have owned a few brands, some very much more expensive than Amazon, there are none my son loves as much. He says these are the softest most comfortable shirts ever, and even I notice the difference in how soft they feel. The only complaint I have is that they don't make some bottoms like some waffle knit top companies. If they had tops and bottoms my son would be in heaven. I love the way these look, I think they have such a classic style, but it's definitely comfort that has caused us to buy so many... And my son is a hard one to please as far as comfort. I am absolutely certain we will buy more in time. I wrote fits as expected , but I was hesitant. I find them just a tiny bit large for size, but not by much. I would also note they are rather stretchy, and if bought in a smaller size would conform to body shape, but my son prefers them loose. We wash these constantly as unless my son is in school, he is usually wearing one. We have had no problems with anything. I did notice some buyers has some problems with a seam, and can only conclude they may have had a faulty batch at some point, we haven't had any problems with any of the ones we purchased. My son does wear some of these for outdoor activities and we have found them quite durable. I am.absolutist certain I will buy more of these, and very much recommend.

Henley, its all gone wrong

I like the Ivory colour and thick stretchy slub cotton but now it's all gone wrong. I measure as a 40inch chest and often fall between size M or L depending on the generosity of manufacturer's sizing. Using the excellent try before you buy offer I ordered both sizes. Large was much, much too big and I returned it. Medium was still quite big but I was hopeful it might shrink in the wash, it didn't, it's got bigger and now the neck is really enormous and all misshapen. It's only usable as a night shirt and not to wear as intended. I subsequently bought a size small in blue which is the right chest size but a bit short. I would love this thick slub cotton Henley but the fit seems all wrong.

Great value at less then £10 each.

These are great value, I wear them around the house to relax in and I have bought 3 now...for less then £10 each you can’t go wrong buying them. I have a 40 inch chest and the large fits me perfectly., I am 5ft 9 inches tall (173cms).

Unusual colour, good fit

I chose the colour as it was an unusual shade of blue. It was exactly as pictured. The fit was perfect for me as I like my Henleys ‘sloppy’. (If you are looking for a more fitted look this may not be for you.) The material is soft and not to heavy or thin. Value for money is good too. I’m a fan!
