Plugs for weird spots
Got an outlet along a wall or behind furniture making it difficult to use? This is the solution! Be aware the lip toward the wall side limits what plugs you can push in to it.

Works Well On Regular Outlets But Won't Fit GFCIs
I got these to use in the kitchen so that the cords on my appliances didn't stick out so much and would hug the wall better. For regular outlets it worked perfectly fulfilled the need I was looking for. What I didn't realize is the spacing of the outlets on the GFCIs is slightly different than a regular outlet, so these won't work on those. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, does what it is advertised to do. The sockets are firm fitting and it fits snug in the outlet. No complaints there.

Just what was needed
The strip coming down from wall mounted tv and sound bar was nicely facilitated by the vertical design of this 6 outlet plug

Worked great
This was a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It made a hard to reach outlet much more accessible. Glad to be able to plug things I. Without rearranging the whole counter. Would buy more if needed.

Was Looking For A Side-Socket, Found This Works Just As Well For Cheaper
If you've watched TV for the past few months, you might have seen an "infomercial" for a product called the "Side Socket". When I initially saw this product, I thought to myself that it was GENIUS. I can't count how many times I've ruined electrical plugs plugged in an outlet behind a piece of furniture. The problem is in that scenario, when you push the piece of furniture to the wall, most cord get smashed to a 90 degree angle. This can typically cause problems in the long run, so your option is to either have a gap between your furniture and wall or just come up with another solution (a 90' angle surge protector to plug into the wall). But the problem is that the Side Socket and many of the off-brand products are at least $13 (at the time of this review - 12/9/2013). Some of them have surge protection, while others do not. I think that if you want a Side Socket type device with surge protection, then it is worth the money. In my case however, I didn't want surge protection because I'm just using this thing to plug in some lamps and an alarm clock and I wasn't willing to pay $13 for this functionality. That's when I found this device for a fraction of the price ($4.88 on Amazon). This does EXACTLY the same thing that Side Socket (w/o surge protection) does without the major bulk. It takes your standard wall outlets and it converts them into 6 and makes the outlets face perpendicular to your outlet. I've seen some reviews complain about the fact that this device converts the TOP wall outlet into 6 outlets. But remember, this is exactly how most of the real Side Socket devices function as well. If you're worried about fire hazard, remember most power strips do the same thing (convert a single plug into 6 or more). The bottom section of this device just has a grounding plug (mine were the metal kind, not plastic), which is used for stability to keep the unit as a whole from wiggling around. There is no way to secure it to your wall outlet with a screw. My only "complaint" is that you cannot plug in devices with an AC adapter or oddly shaped plug bases (like some cell phone chargers) into it if you're shoving a piece of furniture (like a dresser) against it. You only have a small footprint to work with, but that doesn't mean the product is faulty. The product does what it's supposed to and is well made at a fraction of the price of a real Side Socket.

Does not work with GCFI (protected) But can be modded
I bought this because I have a cabinet in the way of my bathroom outlet and needed to have 90 degrees to plug anything in. unfortunately I was sad to discover that these outlets do not work with GCFI outlets in the bathroom/kitchen but work in my other non-GCFI outlets fine. GCFI outlets are outlets with short and fault protection that "pop" and cut the circuit to protect the user from electrocution. You can see these in bathrooms and kitchens - locations that are frequently exposed to water and has the "test" and "reset" buttons. The ground prong on the bottom is too close to the other prongs as GCFI outlets are spaced further apart. I was very disappointing that these didn't work however since these were only ~$7 I decided to cut it open and see if I can modify them. Thankfully I found out that the ground prong is not connected to anything, it's just there for stability! I was able to crack open the outlet and found the insides very simple. I removed the last ground prong and drilled a small hole further down and glued it back with epoxy. Now my outlet fits perfectly! This is pretty simple to do and anyone with basic tools can do it too. You actually don't need the last prong but without it, the adapter will wobble if you use the bottom outlets.

Excellent low-profile space saver over regular units!
Our kitchen was only designed with one outlet in the section of counter we use most of our smaller appliances like coffee, toaster, milk frother, blender. I had a 3-port wide outlet expander but it looked super gaudy, with cords jutting perpendicular from the outlet, making it so you couldn’t push appliances back very close to the outlet. This unit solved our issues! Cords come out parallel to the wall, so you can push appliances all the way up ‘til it contacts the expander body. Not only that, it fits way more sturdy than our previous unit, and isn’t gaudy or bulky looking like others I found on here. I highly, highly recommend this to anyone, and with a trusted name like GE, I have high confidence it’ll last at least a decade or two!

Works well, but overpriced
Pro: offset vertical design allows for more connections. Con: price is too high for what you get.

Two thumbs up
Very helpful with not crushing my charger plugs behind my night table

Hard to find
There are lots on the market but with most the plug in must be sideways. This allow the plug in as it would in any outlet

Problem Solved
I have been looking for something like this for months. As you can see by my photos . . . The location of my outlet negated utilizing the common adapters.
