I have expensive taste, and these are great quality!

Really great quality for the price! I have been obsessed with polished nickel hardware ever since I discovered it. It’s really hard to find it at a good price because it’s more of a specialty metal tone. These towel hooks feel like great quality and they were very easy to install. I just followed the instructions on the back of the box. They came with anchors that are very solid for my drywall. These hooks aren’t going anywhere! The only quirky thing about these hooks is that the instructions called for a 9/32 inch drill bit. I have a couple standard drill bit sets and the closest thing that I had is a 7/32” bit. I just shimmied the bit around in the wall for a second and it made the whole big enough to hammer the anchor into. Highly recommend!

Well made hardware that looks more expensive than it is, but questionable customer service

I bought 5 pieces of Gatco Tavern hardware in Polished Nickel. The finish looks very nice and the hardware feels about mid-weight. Not as heavy as solid brass hardware, but much better than cheap "contractor grade" stamped metal hardware. An excellent value and I think it looks much more expensive. So overall three stars instead of five because of a missing part and no customer support... One item out of 5 was missing the mounting set screw. I emailed Gatco and asked that they mail me a replacement, but they have ignored my inquiry. Not even a response to say "sorry but we can't help". I can probably get a set screw at Home Depot or a hardware store, but...

Installed in a Master Bathroom. Very Happy with it

I wanted a nice sturdy hook to put behind the door in a master bath. The door has nothing directly behind it so there was no worry of the hook hitting the wall. I love this hook. It looks good and works well to hang up clothes on the back of the door when undressing or showering.

Beautiful and great quality!!!

This towel hook is not only sturdy, but beautiful! I also have the matching toilet paper holder (From the Tavern collection) and neither one disappoints! I wouldn’t say it’s the cheapest, but the quality is there! This would also work well for a big bath towel.

Couldn’t find any polish chrome hooks in our town when we did our bathroom remodel. Went online and found this beauty! love it so much I am going to purchase another one for the bathroom

Small hands needed for installation.

The mounting hardware that comes with this product is not “one size fits all.” The included molly bolts did not spring tightly against the wall as they were supposed to, likely due to the thickness of the wall, thus creating a less than ideal hold between the mounting bracket and the wall. This would have been easily avoided by using my own hardware, but once the molly bolts are in the wall there’s really no turning back without a fairly major patch job. The hook itself is fine for our purposes since it’s just for hang drying towels in a guest bathroom and won’t be used often. Having small hands is a plus during installation due to the dexterity needed to tighten the minuscule screw with the minuscule hex key provided. It will be fine now that it’s up, but I would not purchase again.

Great looking and functional

Just what we wanted for the towels in our bath. We have a large walk in shower and we like to use large bath sheets. Regular towel rod would have taken up too much space. This is just right and looks great. Especially like that there is a full matching set of fixtures. We have also used the round hand towel ring and toilet roll holder.
