fits, with help

The water filter has a weird little fin/tab that runs along the side that my fridge doesn't accommodate. As some people are saying, this model filter is supposed to fit my model fridge but the little fin/tab stops it from going into the slot. We cut that off with a utility knife and it works great. I don't know why they added that stupid little piece unless it's a way to try and get people to buy a new fridge. It's easy to modify and allows you to get the brand name filters for a pretty good deal. Or, you can purchase from Amazon Warehouse and get the ones that were returned because people didn't want to bother making it work and get a smoking deal :)

in store the filter i need is about $40 to $50. got this off amazon wharehouse for 1/4 of the cost. no issues at all

This fit perfectly in our Frigidaire refrigerator. All the details in the it takes one second to instal. You just push it right in to the slot where the old one was and that’s it.

Combo feature of air filter

Finally, Amazon delivered the right filter for my fridge. I hope in the future they will recommend this particular filter for this type of fridge to avoid returns and refunds. What I don't understand is the combo feature of air filter. It is not in the manual and I could not find inside the ref. where to place this item. Will the product be cheaper if you don't add another item which is not needed? Why does Amazon promote a combo feature for this model? I wish I could return this unused item to reduce the price. Thanks that is my review Ed

Bought this for my fridge. My fridge is the exact model that this filter is said to be made for but it does not fit. Waste of money.
