Great shoe but buy a size down

Great shoe and was looking to replacement my worn out Union & 14ths from Nordstroms. I normally wear 13s but in this shoe, I needed 12s. I have a narrow foot (B) and nobody makes a narrow driver on purpose. I have the same issue with the Cole Hann drivers (12s).

Not a good shoe

The shoe is hard and not comfortable. If I had known how uncomfortable the shoe would be after 30 minutes I NEVER would have purchased them. I wore them outside once and then realized how bad they really were. Wish I could still return them because I will not wear them again!

Does the job

Arrived and looked to be in good shape. Fit is comfortable, I have a narrow foot and the loafers are not loose. Cost is fair, it is not a $300 plus Italian loafer, nor is it portrayed as such. I like the way the loafers look and feel, and in the end, that's what matters to me. No 5 star due to Florsheim not providing a faux penny....

Great shoe!

This is about the 9th pair I’ve bought. I have 3 sons and they love these dress loafers. I bought an expensive pairs for my older son and returned them and bought these because they all 3 prefer these loafers above all others. Great shoe!

Waited a long time for these

The shoe could be comfortable but the rear upper edges hurt my ankle as they dig in. The shoe needs a thicker insole. See below. Those 2 things cause a lot of pain after walking for a few minutes (mostly the upper edges digging in). Upper leather is pretty soft. Not the highest quality I have felt but it's fine. They do look slightly cheap though. It's the way the leather looks. I haven't yet smelled leather but more chemical smells. Meanwhile, Clarks shoes always smell like leather. I hope it really is real leather. Design is fine and looks semi-classy. Sole is good, grippy. I ordered size 12 since there's no 11.5 and 12 is my size, but they're a bit too large. 11.5 would have worked. I tried adding a second thin insole and it makes it a bit tighter, which helps but not enough, and almost solves the pain from the upper edge digging in but not fully. I'm hoping it'll get softer. I removed the first insole and put my own 0.5mm one below it, in order to keep the nice Florsheim insole on top. I think I need a thicker 0.8mm one. So, I might keep these. Unsure yet. I would like Florsheim not to use so much of that textile inside as it makes a smell eventually (I have other Florsheim shoes with similar textile) and it makes my feet too hot. I originally waited a month for these to ship. Had to cancel, re-ordered, waited another month. Got prime trial, cancelled again, re-ordered and this time it worked lol. Took a while only to get disappointed =(.
