Works great with LED bulbs

I found it easy to install and it works as designed. My one complaint is that the sliding control on the right does not slide very smoothly. For most people this won't be an issue because you slide it to the desired brightness level and you use the big on/off switch from there on. I would have taken one star off the rating for this except that this unit appears to work perfectly with LED bulbs even though the packaging clearly states it is not compatible with CFL or LED. The company prefers that you pay $10 more for model 9573AW that is advertised to support LED. I bought one of each and found that they work equally well. I currently have one 11w LED bulb (Philips brand) controlled by this dimmer switch and it works for me.

They work pretty well however you really can't use them with dimmable LEDs or dimmable compact florescence

One of the biggest failures of this product is that the manufacturer does not put on the box or carton that you have to have a minimum wattage to be able to install. I have managed with all these with four Watt LED remodeling fixtures. This unit is very difficult to get the voltage LED lamps properly adjusted, and the units take 30 seconds to turn on when using the dimmers. The only way to correct for this is to put at least several LED lamps in a row in series in order for this to actually work Properly. (What that means is that you actually have to daisychain one lamp for the next lamp to the next lamp in order for it actually work properly...) It's sort of surprising that in this day and age when compact florescence bulbs dimmable or otherwise and dimmable LEDs are so common and in some places required, that you actually can't find a dimmer from Cooper that works incredibly well with dimmable compact florescence or LEDs.

Gorgeous but unreliable

My wife and I love the look of this line, which we used throughout our entire house, but I was very disappointed to find them a little unreliable. I would say that 1 or 2 out of 10 just didn't work. Either they were completely dead or they flickered when installed. The rest worked perfectly. We initially bought them at Lowe's but then turned to the internet for extras when Lowe's suddenly stopped carrying the line. (I wonder why.) If I had to do it all over again, I would consider other options first.

My wife and I really like these switches for their unusual design and great operation. The dimmer works fine with LED bulbs.

Easy to install and sleek looking

Easy to install and matches the other switches in my kitchen. Now I have the recessed accent lights over the counter on a dimmer, which adds a nice ambient light, but will also hopefully prolong the life of the halogen bulbs.

This product works great. However, it doesn’t match the silver that the regular switch comes in. For some reason this dimmer only comes in this color.

Slim fit

A little expansive but a pretty good product. Was the only one that fits an older home where the electrical box is smaller and does not fit the wider dimmer switches from other brands.
