Solves the "coax sticks out of the wall" problem
Very simply put, this redirects the cable coax so it points up or down instead of at a 90 degree angle. Coax cable is so thick and hard it does not bend well so it always looks bad. With this, you can direct the cable down and behind something so your furniture can closer to the wall. Or alternatively, you can direct the coax up the wall to a tv mounted on the wall so it lays more flush against the wall. You still need to secure it or cover it but it comes out neat and tidy. I bought one a few months ago for the living room so it was less noticeable and my wife recently requested I do it in the bedroom now. Previously the best you could do is to kink the cable which can cause a poor connection as it stresses the fitting on the end. See the difference in my images. It really looks better and it does keep it from getting crushed.

I wanted to make my wall installation look pretty. I didnt like how the holes fit with the cutout. Im sure I should have used a mount, but whatever. It looks nice and ill buy more if needed. Great quality overall. Booya

Top quality and simple to install for DIY projects.
We have these all over the house. They work great and are simple for DIY folks to install. Professional TV installer from BB (national electronics store) charged $100 to install his own and hide wires in the wall two years ago. When we saw the result we loved it. When we saw how simple it was for him to charge $100 extra we never looked back. We purchased our own recessed hardware and installed them everywhere.

Works great - large hole.
I purchased this cable plate because it appeared to have the largest opening for cables and I was not disappointed. I was able to pull 4 HDMIs, 1 Ethernet, 1 TV antenna, and 1 USB through it and it still had room for more. Note it does not come with a drywall backing plate so you will need to pick one up online or at your local store.

This product is awesome
When you want the in-wall cables to your wall mounted TV to not show, and all you have is two rectangular holes in the wall, this gives a nice finished look like a professional would do it.
