Great quality

Does Not Follow Size Chart

Bought this for my son, did his measurements before ordering and his measurements were well within the parameters of the size chart. Received the costume, immediately I was disappointed with the overall appearance of this costume, but additionally, the components like the head gear were horribly miss-shaped and it was going to take some real finagling to get that thing to fit right. I had him try on the body suit first, naturally, and not only was it way too short, the sleeves were incredibly small which they are not supposed to be, and we couldn't even get it up to his shoulders. I checked the packaging once again just to make sure we received the right size, and according to the package we did. I was immediately frustrated for him because it took us awhile to pick this costume out and at the price point they are asking for this costume, it should fit just as described. The rest of the pieces were fine as far as the way they were presented, the sewing and everything was okay, but just overall this costume was about as cheesy cheap as they come, and if I had paid $20 for this, it would have been expected. But for a $54 costume, it absolutely needs to be better than this. I hate doing returns but for this amount of money, I wasn't going to just "deal" with it. So our other son, who is 4 yrs younger than him, I decided well, maybe we can just keep this costume so he could do this one next year because his current costume has already be purchased and well planned out. I had him try to come try it on, again, his brother is 4 yrs younger than him- so not only did it not fit our older son, it didn't really fit our younger son either. This was supposed to be an XL, which is supposed to fit 14-16, which is our oldest sons current clothe size, but additionally, he JUST NOW got to be that size. So the younger son is regularly a size, 10-12, sometimes a 14, so in theory, even though it didn't fit our older boy it should have fit our younger one. It absolutely did not. We were able to get it up over his shoulders but everything was super tight- so if I had to tell you what size I thought this costume REALLY is, I would have to say it was more like an 8-10 instead of a 14-16 if that gives you any idea about the size discrepancy. For this to have fit him, with their current sizing the way it is, it would need to be 2 sizes bigger and this kid doesn't even weigh 100lbs soaking wet, and he is extremely slender. So after reading my review here, if you choose to go ahead and go with this costume, you will probably need to go 2 sizes bigger than what your normal size is for your kid and if you have a child that needs a 14-16, a TRUE size- you're going to have to keep searching because this isn't it. I had to go ahead and send it back for a refund and will make sure from now on to double question this particular company when it comes to their "size chart".

Halloween costume

My son was very excited when he received his costume. It was made of good material and worth the money. My son has added it to his other "play" outfits and still wears it.

We both love how this costume was made, my grandson will get many uses from it.

I originally brought this costume for Halloween, but my grandson took it out of the package and had been wearing it every day. I like the material and construction. I will buy another costume for my youngest grandson.
