I took a few close up photos of the material so you can see better what it looks like on either side. My reason for choosing this in colder weather was for our own circumstances. We have steam heating. It's incredible how quickly the home is flooded with heat. Unfortunately when you are trying to sleep this isn't great. So I have this quilt underneath a few layers of fabric blankets. It's working great. This is definitely for warmer weather and I can tell you I feel a bit cooler with this covering me. It's fairly thin but it does work exactly as I'd hoped. Plus it does look really nice. I like the design of it. There is a downside to it, for me at least. The description says decadently soft. Well, it's not. I'm not going to complain or shoot it down because it's softish in an ok sort of way but I can't say there's anything decadent about it. It's not plush or half as good as some of the other blankets we have around the home. Notably some of those other blankets didn't cost $80 either. But I would say it will do well enough once summer comes around, unless it gets really hot I can imagine this is ok for year round use. And in that you may get real value for money.

Nice lightweight blanket, perfect for warm months.

This is a nice quilt set. It comes with two matching pillow shams and the quilt itself appears to be of good quality. Doesn't "feel" cheap. It is however not "luxurious" as stated, it is soft but not fluffy in any way. It is a typical quilt weight and is not warm at all. That is not a bad thing per se, I think it would be perfect for warmer months or for those that get hot at night. I was excited to use and then had to pull another blanket out to stay warm in these cold months so I will relegate it to the summer months only. I like the design a lot and it is reversible to a solid color on back which is nice. Overall I like the style and quality is good as long as you are looking for something cool and not warm, you will enjoy it.

It’s a nice looking set. Really good deal. Nice cool thin summer weight.

This is a very pretty set and a great deal for the money. It’s a perfectly light summer weight. The outside top print is very modern and neutral in black, white, and gray. The reverse side is plain light gray. I love that it comes with nice sized shams for pillows too to make up a nice looking and coordinating bed. I also like that it’s compact enough to wash all parts in the machine together and have it dry easier than a full and plushy wide comforter. Overall I’d recommend the set.

Vibrant and light weight

This quilt is super thin, which works for this southern California climate where its already 80-90 degrees and it isn't even spring yet. It won't be keeping anyone warm in colder months. It washes nicely, no loss of color, no seams busting or thread pulling, and because it is so thin, it dried quickly. It does have that polyester feel which I personally find unpleasant, it reminds me of children's sheets

Quilt, not comforter

It’s a very beautiful pattern with sturdy material. However, it is quite thin. It would make a perfect comforter for the warmer months. However, I’m not sure that these would be warm enough for the winter. Otherwise, exactly as advertised. It’s a very classic quilt type of blanket. My favorite thing about this is how easy it is to wash!
