My son’s favorite Xmas gift

My son loves all things trucks and so we ordered this for Christmas. He was absolutely delighted. I love the classic wooden toys because they are so well made. We also like that these move to “do work”. The little workers are cute and can come and go from their trucks.

Big chunky trucks

These are Big chunky trucks, great for young preschoolers. I bought these without realizing that they are recommended for two year olds. I was going to send them back but decided I would let my students give them a try. Being three and a half I thought they would lose interest quickly and some did. However with fifteen students there was always someone will to take the place of the last child who left. My students were excited to see that they could spin the mixer and tip the dump truck bed. The wooden drivers were smaller then the ones that come in the shape sorter dump truck. That was disappointing but not an uncommon issue I'm finding with the Melissa and Doug products.

Durable, good-looking toys, highly recommended

My two year old grandson loved these toys. We gave the set to him along with a book named "D is for Dump Truck", and he received the toys with delight, played hard with them. I was wondering whether wooden toys would be sturdy enough for this kind of play, and I can say that they are very durable . We were delighted by the driver that sits inside the slot of each vehicle, wearing a vest that matches the color of the vehicle.

Cute, durable, toddler loves them

I got these as cake toppers for my kiddo's 2 year Birthday. They were sort of big for a 9*13 cake, but he ended up licking frosting off of them and they have been a favorite toy since! He loves the little people that pop in and out of the cabs. Also loves IDing the different trucks. I highly recommend these.

Great but for one detail

My daughter loves this set but there is one thing that is missing. Female construction worker. My 4 year old came and asked me why all the construction people were men. Melissa & Doug, please add some females for the girls who like to play with trucks and trains!

Super well made

My 2 yr old grandson LOVES these trucks and the people that drive them! At first he wanted the colors of the people's clothes to match their truck. Now he is willing to. mix it up. Super well made! Loving ALL Melissa and Doug toys!!!!

Not usual Melissa and Doug quality

The children love this set however after only paying with it for a month, the dump truck split in half. We've had Melissa and Doug toys that have last many years. Very disappointed in this set.

These are okay. The kids seem to enjoy them, which is why I'm giving a 3 instead of 2. I was disappointed in the quality and the paint job. There's blue paint on the yellow part of the dump truck and many other painting errors.
