Pop-sicle. Pop-pop-sicle

Love em! Our new addiction is making popsicles. My neice says to me, "hey tia" I say, "hey what" she says, "you like to pop" I say, "pop what" and we both say "pop-sicle, pop-pop-sicle" haha! It's the funnest ever. She is 5 and we love making healthy treats together. So far we have made fresh blueberry and yogurt, fresh strawberry and yogurt, and blackberry and yogurt popsicles. We used foil to wrap them the first couple times, but we are using wax paper now with a cute string tie. We love making them and sharing them with the neighbors.

These are great because it allows me to eat my popsicles and not have to worry about saving the plastic one. Also I can remove the finished frozen popsicles, wrap them in plastic and make new ones in my stainless steel popscicle molds.

Useful and Inexpensive

There is nothing remarkably special about these wooden treat sticks except for the simple fact that they are nearly impossible to find when you're looking for them in stores! I was able to find plenty of "craft" sticks at local craft stores and mass merchandisers, but finding a stick that was actually food-grade was not as simple as I'd thought it would be. These are your standard popsicle sticks, and the price tag of 5.05 for a hundred sticks beat anything I found elsewhere. I haven't used them for popsicles yet, but they work great when baking them into sugar cookies for a popsicle-looking treat!

Good for all sorts of 'projects'

I used this to make fruit kebabs for my daughter's preschool class, and they were loved by by the kids (the tasty treats) & teachers (safe with no sharp edges) alike. Only thing was that some of the sticks started to slightly splinter when I threaded the fruit pieces on. I plan to use these for much more crafty things.

Perfect for popsicles!

I use these for homemade popsicles. I have a Progressive International popsicle mold, and these sticks fit a little bit tighter than the progressive intl. sticks, but are still perfectly fine. There is no funny taste or smell from these sticks. The package says "Treat Sticks (and great for crafts too!)" though it doesn't specifically say it's rated for food. I'm not too worried about it because the popsicles are almost frozen before I stick these in, and the popsicles are eaten before they get warm so I don't feel like there's a big chance for chemicals to go into the pops, if there are any at all. Will buy again next summer.

Good but needs improvement

Finally took this out of the cupboard to make blueberry popsicles from a recipe (not recipe from this author). I like that it is reusable and the popsicle molds snaps to the tray. What I don’t like about it is that when you stick the top with the stick, it doesn’t seem to snap in. So I have to turn it around to see if I am snapping it correctly. Then it still doesn’t snap on top. I’ll update this review when the popsicles are ready so I can see how easy it comes out. It could be better.
