Tea kettle

This is a good kettle, bought it for the color for my wife. Easy to clean and it whistles when ready. I like the handle on it and it doesn't really get dirty.

Looks And Works Well

This is our second, the other is still in use. The handle doesn’t get as hot as many others and it has a great look. We got the green. My wife says it doesn’t match the kitchen but I like it.

Nice teapot, but....

I love the look of this teapot, but it is larger than I expected. That's on me for not paying attention to the size description. I had trouble getting the lid back on, until I realized the small wooden handle of the lid needs to align with the larger wooden handle of the teapot itself. Just a little FYI so you needn't spent weeks struggling with the lid going on easily sometimes and at other times it was not.

easy to use

We love this tea kettle. It is easy to use and love the color. I didn't give 5 stars because it splashes when opening the spout. I let settle a little before pouring and found it does not splash as much. Overall it is a great kettle. Also, keep it away from burner next to it if sitting on the stove while cooking, because the heat may darken the color of the kettle. Hope this helps.

Tea Kettle

I didn't really need a new kettle; but I saw this one and had to have it. It matches the color scheme in my kitchen perfectly and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It does exactly what it's suppose to do; plus the handle does not burn the hand. I had to get rid of one my kettles because the handle got so hot you couldn't pick it up without a pot holder. My husband complained about it all the time. This kettle is great and looks nice too. It's a nice subdued green, which is exactly what I was wanted.

Cute But Impractical

I was drawn to this teapot because if it’s aesthetic. It also seemed reasonably priced compared to others with a similar look and water capacity. While I like the aesthetic it is, unfortunately, impractical. The handle is made of silicone and gets very hot by the time the water boils. And oven mitt must be worn to pick up the tea pot with boiling water. The trigger to open the spout is very difficult to utilize. It’s placement is reasonable but it really sticks making the spout jerk open. The same experience is found when pushing the spout back down. The first time using the tea pot it whistled as advertised. But since then I have found the water to be boiling with no whistle sounding. In the end I still get boiling water for my tea so I can live with it but I wish the product’s design and materials were more though out.

Beautiful but too big

This is a beautiful kettle the only thing I didn’t like was that it was far too big for what I needed so I had to return it.

Absolutely beautiful to look at

Absolutely beautiful to look at, but a nightmare to use. You wouldn’t think that something as simple as a tea kettle could be that difficult to engineer. But although the “trigger“ to open the pourspout works well enough, you have to use your hand to close the cap. Releasing the trigger does not release the cap over the spout so it can close. And it takes two hands to get the lid off the darn thing and even then it’s difficult because you can’t even get one hand between the handle for the lid and the handle on the tea kettle to get a good grip on it to pull it up. Very disappointed.
