Makes my IPhone more secure filming videos.

A great choice to film videos with a smartphone. The phone clamp is very secure. I have wondered many times if my IPhone would slip out of my hands while holding away it from me. Now I can use the mini tripod or extend the gimbal above me. Stabilization works well for smooth video clips, also.

A little confusing but works great!

The gimbal works as expected. It was a little confusing to get started but after following the straight forward instructions it works great. The battery life lasts about 4 hours with off and on use.

Small learning curve, but awesome mount

Worked perfectly for my purposes. I needed a good mount to film video content at a work conference. I struggled slightly initially, but I figured it out and actually became pretty fluent with it after a few days of fiddling.

Don't buy if you own an Android phone

The product quality and performance is very much satisfactory. The product has ligh level of stability and captures great videos. But the full functionality of the device can be attained only when we use their app "DJI MIMO", which is not available in Google Play in INDIA. And alternative way is to download the app from their website and installing it which is not recommended by the mobile manufacturers. Still I did it and the app worked for few days and now the app is not working anymore. So it is a waste of money for a person using Android phone unless they make some efforts to get the app available in Google playstore. But please note that the app is available in apple store and it works well in iPhones. So definitely a great buy for iPhone users.

Buy the new model DJI Osmo Mobile SE if you are buying after September 2022

The media could not be loaded. Received the original product in sealed box. This carries DJI India warranty. I used it with my One Plus 9 Android phone and had no trouble with the fit or the Mimo app. I downloaded the App directly from DJI.com. The display icon on the black strip above the buttons is really helpful. The magnetic holder is very strong and I had to really pull hard to dismantle the mobile from the gimbal. I tested the gimbal in indoor lit condition and outdoors as well and am very happy with it's performance. It's very light weight and easy to setup and use. I highly recommend this newer model over the OM 4SE if you are buying a DJI gimbal after September 2022, for it's display indicator, jog dial, Active Track 5 and ofcourse newer firmware and model at least par with most features of DJI OM 6.

This Gimbal is not for Andriod users; rather you don't need one

The media could not be loaded. Well after going through a lot many reviews and videos, I decided to purchase this in the current offer @ Rs 7053. I share my opinion here which may help u in deciding if you really want this device. Mobile Device - S21 Ultra 1. This Gimbal is only for iPhone users. No app support on Play store, n neither the app downloaded from the store is stable. 2. The Andriod Mimo app limits all recording features and supports only 1080p / 30fps. 3. Shutter lags, low quality camera app of Mimo and many more limitations which I am sure you have read everywhere. Can you use Default Mobile Cam? Yes, but you still need the mimo app to change between various gimbal mode, and there are options to change mode directly from the Gimbal using buttons unlike other gimbals. But do you really need a Gimbal? does it actually stabilizes your video?? Well, the answer is a BIG NO. You still need to maintain your walking posture in a way that it doesn't impact the video wobbling. - The rules of photography (the grid, making the subject in the center) are damn difficult when using the gimbal. - Worst feature - Active Tracking - I tried it with my Cat it failed, as we get closer to the object & the size changes the active tracker is unable to find the object and keeps searching across until you stop it. - There are tons of disappointments in this app and I regret buying and wasting my money. Verdict: If you have a good smartphone, you don't need a Gimbal, don't restrict your hands with such a device that uses some half-built AI/ML to tell you how to shoot.
