Really like this valve, just one thing I wish they would change.

I really like the Delta Vero line of products. Everything is finished well, is actually very heavy and substantial for what it is, smooth actions...etc. I love being able to set the temperature on this valve and then never think about it again (I live alone right now so nobody else to change the setting). What's great is that I get it to a comfortable level and know it's going to be exactly the same the next time I turn the shower on. It sounds fickle, but it will actually save me a little time in the morning not having to stand there waiting for the water to warm up and then make several adjustments till the water isn't too hot or cold to get in. I rarely make an adjustment even once I'm in he shower too. It's great! I have one minor gripe with this shower trim and one gripe with the entire Delta Vero line altogether. The gripe I have with this valve is that the temperature control knob is made out of plastic. Seriously? We spend over $200 on a "stainless steel" shower trim and they cheap out on the little temperature control knob? To their credit, the plastic doesn't feel cheap and matches everything else perfectly. With that said, that leads to my gripe with the ENTIRE Delta Vero, and more than likely their Arzo lines as well since they are similar... They advertise these components as being stainless steel......They are simply not stainless steel.....at all. These are brushed nickel over solid brass. You can see the evidence of the plating process on the back of the cover plates. When I ordered my first valve from a different company (which was an awful experience) the back plate showed up damaged with gashes in it. The gashed showed the goldish brass behind the nickel finish. Does this make the product bad? Absolutely not, but I think it is false advertising and absolute crap that they are mentioning stainless steel at all on this product. You can't even plate stainless steel onto brass. So if you are hell bent on having everything be legitimately stainless steel in your bathroom this is not for you. The misleading marketing is the only reason I removed a star. Come on Delta...get it together. Overall though, great product.

Great Quality

Delta always makes a quality faucet. Their flat brass or gold is very tough to match with other brands (I.e. lights, mirrors, racks..)

Best Price available

I was stuck - I needed a simple diverter for the guest shower and ordered one. When my wife went to the supply house to pick it up she was presented with a bill of $200+ for a Vero diverter by Delta. When I returned home I saw what it was and decided that the Vero collection would be in the master bath not the guest bath. I quit doing business with the local supply house and started looking on line for the rest of the Vero collection. I found this valve at Lifetime WaterWorks for nearly half the retail price and it was received on time well packed with no issues.

However, valve broke in year 7. Repairman said it's a common problem for Delta.

Looks amazing and works perfectly

The Vero monitor series gives the bathroom a nice and modern look without sacrificing any function. My plumber installed the entire setup within 45 min and we were in the shower just minutes later. You never have to worry about adjusting the temperature again and can use the pressure valve independently from the temperature valve. I would highly recommend this.
