Looks great, but parts are plastic
This shower trim kit looks great and matches my bathroom perfectly! It is a great price. Be aware that the showerhead is not solid metal, but plastic.

The shower head looks nice, but I have not used it yet
I bought this kit mainly for the valve and trim kit. I ended up buying a different shower head. The shower head looks nice, but I have not used it yet. The valve and trim kit were fairly easy to install and seem to be well built. My only complaint is that the outter-most temperature adjustment knob is constructed of plastic and just snaps on. I'm afraid overtime it make snap off or loosen. So far, it has worked well. I've had it installed and in regular/daily use now for about 4 months.

Good pressure shower
So far I love it, the shower has sufficient pressure even though our old one did not and this is on the second floor of the house. The bronze color is beautiful. Like the fact the water pressure and temperature are set separately.

Works well
After reading the reviews here I figured this would be a good faucet set. It does work well and looks nice. I like the larger shower head. Make sure you also buy the universal valve that it requires. I figured my plumber would have it but he didn't. I guess it is unique to Delta. On a side note I had to call Delta to figure out exactly which valve I needed. The woman I spoke with was short with me and seemed annoyed that I had to inquire about the valve.

Looks beautiful, was expecting better quality
The finish is beautiful, it immediately tarnishes when water touches it but it looks good. The temperature cap on the valve is cheap and does not connect securely but stays on. The temp knob also rotates with the on off water valve rotation so you wont get the temp you want unless the water is all the way on. The tub faucet should be designed to accomodate a greater difference in stub out lengths also. The shower is very strong and wide, be prepared for water to bounce off you everywhere (very different than a removable style head)

Love the lever. Get to quickly go to where I like my water temp compared to my wife.
This is great. Really helpful to know where you like the temperature for showers. I can't handle the crazy hot temps my wife can in the shower. So I have my own position to have the water in. Great for a bathroom remodel like we just did.

Great Set
We purchased this faucet set for our vintage subway style bathroom and they are the perfect! I love the look and the convenience of setting the temperature and not having to worry about adjusting it daily. We love this set and would definitely recommend!

Installed in second bath
Not as nice as the higher end stuff, comes with a plastic valve rather than brass, but its a17 series so it has separate adjustments.

Great trim kit provided you installed the vavle correcctly
This is a nice trim kit but your valve has to be installed correctly for it to function properly. The quality is quite good, Delta quality used to be a bit better in the past (more metal) but as it is it is still good. Really my only complaint would be the temperature handle not being metal but in use you really don't notice that it's not. All the plastics used seem to be of good quality, however, and are finished very nicely. For people complaining that the the shower head leaks when the faucet is running I suspect they did not install the valve correctly. The valve MUST be installed with 1/2" copper sweated to a drop ear elbow for the Faucet. I'd wager many people are using 1/2" pex which is too restrictive. 1/2" pex pipe has a lower inner diameter than 1/2" copper and the crimp/clamp fittings reduce it even further to a similar diameter as 3/8" copper. This create too much restriction to the faucet and you will get water coming out of your shower head. Another possibility is that the valve was installed upside down, the sower side is more restricted than the faucet side, the back is labeled UP^, make sure you install it correctly. For people complain of lower pressure or flow, again, I suspect they are using 1/2" pex. 1/2" pex is not a replacement for 1/2" copper unless you are using Uponor expansion fittings which require an expensive tool. Even then, 1/2" pex has a lower inner diameter then 1/2" copper so you will never get the same flow. While you can get away with 1/2" pex if you are using expansion fittings but if you are using crimp fittings you need to use 3/4" pex. The crimp fittings for 3/4" pex have a similar inner diameter to 1/2" copper so you will get a similar flow rate. Also, splurge for the brass crimp fittings, they tend to have a larger inner diameter than the plastic ones. If you're having other issues, make sure your cartridge is installed correctly, there's is a specific way it need to go and it is keyed. Although the keys like to pop out easily so once you get it set in place make sure you hold it and it doesn't rotate when you go to tighten the retaining ring.
