Slips off heal but....

I have purchased many Sketcher's in my lifetime. I have always been a 7 1/2 wide. I purchased these in that size however they are too long for my foot. I am afraid to down size because my feet tend to swell up and I wouldn't want them to be too tight. When I walk they slip off of my heal which makes walking difficult. However, they are very comfortable and I have been dealing with Plantar fasciitis and these shoes have the arch support for that. I did insert some tissue at the toe which is helpful so that they don't slip off when I walk. It seems to work. Either go down on your size, like I could probably fit in a 7 wide rather than a 7 1/2 wide but I have been wearing them so I cannot return them at this point. Or you can purchase or make your own Shoe filler's for the toe area to help with them slipping off. Other than that these are very comfortable. If there is a try before you buy option go with that first this way you can find your correct size.

Comfortable and Cute

I bought these to replace the identical pair that I bought at least 7 years ago. They are comfortable and cute enough to wear with just about anything and they are my most worn shoes for work. I put 4+ miles a day on them during a trip to Spain with no blisters or sore feet. My feet are slightly wide and I have developing bunions, still no issues. Great shoes!

4 Attempts To Find The Right Size

I first bought these shoes from local retail a couple of years ago and loved them. I wear anywhere from 7-8; my feet aren’t big but I’m very flat footed, and the 7 1/2 wide were a perfect fit. Plus the memory foam cushion was very comfortable. Even minimal arch support can be killer on flat feet yet overly flat insoles can be just as brutal, but these shoes were a perfect balance. However after this last purchase, I don’t know why Sketchers would change what they had perfect the first time. It took me 4 attempts to find the right size after reading varying reviews from other customers. The 7 1/2 size still fits but I did not need it in wide anymore for my flat feet— wide made the shoes way to big, but regular is a little too tight. It rubbed a blister on my heal after a couple hours. The memory foam is still nice but there’s a very odd arch support to it now—feels more like a small ball/lump rather than a smooth incline/arch. I’m glad I bought them Like New from Amazon for about $30 because they are not worth the original sticker price. Otherwise I would be returning these as well. That and I’m return-fatigued and frustrated after 3 other attempts. Note, I do not believe buying Like New had anything to do with why the shoes are not up to par with the quality I remember from just 3 years ago. Something is definitely different and just not as comfortable. The style is why I decided on 3 ⭐️ instead of 2⭐️. 3 years ago, I would’ve given them a solid 5.

Perfect Shoe

I was so happy when I read that these shoes run big. I am a solid 10.5 shoe. 11 is too big and 10 is too small. I got the 10 and crossed my fingers. They truly fit like a 10.5. These shoes are so comfortable. Like I am about to buy more colors. I don't know how I have missed out on these until now.

Darling shoe...but

Loved these, but I ordered a 7.5 in a wide width (broad foot). They were way, way too wide. I had to return them. The length was even a tad longer than expected, so I would say they run 1/2 size long. I normally wear an 8. Normal width 7.5 would have fit like an 8. Well made--very nice shoe otherwise.

Nice walking shoe

Bought for a trip that I was going to have to do a lot of walking.! Wished I had bought two pairs. But it only came in Black in my size. I normally wear a 9M... And M was roomy but no rubbing...very comfortable.

slips at the heel. Nice otherwise

I have lots of sketchers shoes all the same size, different styles. This one didn't fit the same. The heel was loose and slipped. It might have been ok if the toe box part was a little longer. As it is the shoe felt like it was going to fall off. I am sending back and ordering a different style.

Runs quite large

I had read the reviews of others indicating these shoes run large. I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10, so I went with a 9. They're still just a bit too large for my feet - so be sure to go at least a full size down if your're tempted to purchase these shoes! Other than that issue, they look nice, they're lightweight, and quite comfortable so seemingly a really nice shoe. I just wish they were a half size smaller.

Shoes are larger than the size given

Ordered UK size 5.5 but the shoes received are waaay bigger than a size 5.5. The size tag on the shoes also state 5.5 but they are too long and loose/sloppy all round - closer to a UK size 6.5 I'd say. Pics are of my old grey size 5.5 Skechers next to the new ones. Great shoes otherwise, comfortable & lightweight but you'd be wise to go for at least a half size smaller than you usually wear. Also! Be warned! I didnt realise these are sent from Germany, so no free postage to return the item back to Germany. Tracked postage to return just personally cost me £12!! I've reordered now but from a UK supplier instead.
