I love these shoes

Flojos have changed; I won't purchase again
I'm so sad to discover Flojos have changed. Probably 20 years ago I was gifted a pair of Flojos and when I tried them on I was in flip-flop heaven. I purchased several other pair around that time, and even after almost two decades, they are all still going strong. So when I had need for a new pair in a different color I hopped on Amazon and ordered them. When they arrived I tried them on and immediately hated them. I compared the footprint between my old ones (original) and new ones (2.0) and they were identical. The hole for the toe thong was in the same place. So why did I have to force my feet in to the 2.0 version, why did my heel go off the back edge, and why did I have all this extra space in front of my toes? Upon looking at the construction of the shoe I think it's 2 things: 1. The toe thong used to be all nylon-webbing type fabric. Now it is 2 layers - the nylon-webbing type fabric is topped with the same "leather" that the part of the flip flop where the two top straps connect are made of. 2. That part of the flip-flop where the two top straps connect is now stitched to the toe thong in way that allows for little flexibility. These two changes create a rigidity that force my foot backward and cause the two top straps to squeeze down on my foot. The platform of the flip-flop has also changed. The cool cushy material has been replaced with a harder material. Flojos have changed so dramatically that I cannot wear them. I've returned them and don't plan to purchase Flojos again because as I look at photos of other options I can see they've made the same changes across the board. I see the company sold a number of years ago; I don't know when changes were made to the design of their flip-flops but I am so disappointed this company tried to fix what wasn't broken. I rarely write reviews, but as someone who looks at reviews as part of my shopping I felt what I experienced might help another shopper.

Love them so far
I’ve had flojos which have lasted me a very long time. My dog chewed them up and they are still wonderful lol. I just wanted new ones for vacation so I ordered some similar to the ones I had. They are very comfortable and seem to be made well. I’m usually a 7 and so I got a 7. They fit me well but if you need a little more room at the heel, order a size up. Honestly I should have gotten a size up. It's a little snug on top since they are brand new and I haven’t worn them in, but so far I have high hopes that they last me a long time like my old ones. (The first photo is a comparison between my old flojos and the new one)

Best Flip flops
I owned a pair of Flojos back in 2005 and they lasted forever. Unfortunately after 10 years they wore out. I ordered these with hesitation because I couldn't try them on first. So glad I bought them. They fit great and are super comfortable.

Love them but recommend upsizing
I bought a pair of these 10 years ago and, although not so feminine, I love them! Super comfortable, good support. I thoroughly put my old pair to the test, wore them all the time - went in the water with them, rain, mud, gardening, painting, etc. They don't look so great, but still wear fine. Thought I would get a new pair that were a little more presentable for "public" wear. Still feel good on my feet but are about a 1/2" shorter than the last pair. I bought a size 9, just like the last pair and my normal size (sometimes I'm an 8.5), but my heel just hits the edge. So, I recommend going a size up.

Small
My daughter is 11 and just got into a sz 9 shoe. These are barely long enough and the strap is very tight and kinda pushes her foot to the inside of the flip flop. We have some other styles from this brand and love them though.

Size up but great flip flops!
Size up 1 to 2 sizes. I ordered a 7, which I'm usually a 6 if not smaller, but my heal is right on the edge of the back and the strap is a little snug. But I purchased a pair 14½ years ago and have wore them alot throughout the time and they finally started giving out. But after so many years I had to buy them again!

First pair of rainbows
I actually was surprised at how much I liked them. I am more of a reef person because of my arches but I have been wearing these for over a month and no complaints.

The quality is most important

Best flip flops!
My absolute favourite flip flops. First bought in Cali in 2007. This is my third pair. They are so comfortable and last forever.

suitable for narrow feet
There was nothing wrong with the flip flops if you have a very narrow foot. Had to give them to my daughter as she has a narrow foot.
