Nice Fabric, bad fit

Review of: "Maaji Women's Standard Bandeau Top with Removable Soft Cups with Detachable Straps." In the color "Black" (which is a paisley pattern) and size Medium. The fabric is very nice to the touch and to the eye, and the paisley pattern and colors are beautiful. Overall this is too small. I wear a size 34A bra, ordered a Medium in this. It was hard to slip up and over my hips, which are only about 35" at widest part. Once I got the bandeau in place, it was clear that it would not stay up without the straps. However, usually a person wears a bandeau with NO straps. The straps are something we use when we go into the ocean to avoid any mishaps. But immediately when I took the straps down, the top of the suit falls down and squishes "the girls" and turns them into an unsightly shape. Also about the straps....it's not your typical bandeau strap that goes around the neck, that you can put on and remove yourself. This top has 2 straps like a bra, and you'd need a friend to put them on and remove them every time you go in and come out of the water. If the top did look good on me, I probably would have just used the straps hooked in front, and tie around my neck to go into the water. Overall the band is too tight, creating a little bulge. There are very thin breast pads that move all over the place as well. This top also flattened me out pretty severely. I know I'm a size A, but I do have enough to have a womanly shape. But NOT with this suit, which turns my shape into more of a boy shape (flat). I'm returning.
