Medium fits like a Large or greater. Sizing is off on different product lines.

Helly Hansen's quality has always been great. However recently, depending on piece, sizing is really off. I have many pieces from this label. Fairly consistent where medium is comfortable and not snug. Recently ordered fleece jackets to replace my old ones and the medium fit like S or XS. This down coat is really nice but this piece in medium fits like a large. Going forward, very confused on what size to order in their product lines.

Almost perfect - feathers and zipper

I love this coat! I got a large (I’m 5’7”, 168 lbs, build: wider at shoulders, shorter torso, athletic legs) and I have enough room for layers, but don’t usually need it because this coat is so warm! I love the length and how puffy it actually is- whereas with other “puffy” coats I’ve tried have felt thin. I would’ve given this 5 stars except that some of the feathers have started coming out (when I wore a black sweater I could see them on my sweater). I was hoping this coat was like the other HH coats (my husband has the men’s version of the adore puffy parka) that have a tougher (tighter woven?) fabric which seems to prevent the feathers from coming out but will report back after more wear to see if it loses a lot of feathers. Additionally the zipper sometimes is difficult to zip. It has to be in a specific angle for me to be able zip all of the way up.

Super comfy, lightweight and warm!

Absolutely love this jacket. My husband received a HH from his company for Christmas with a similar downfilling, loft and fabric and it is so warm and lightweight. I knew I wanted one as well! I bought this through the 7-day try-on with Amazon, and I cannot tell you how amazing this jacket is! We’ve had snow consistently for two weeks now, and this jacket is perfect for the snow weather. I love how light it is too. I will recommend this jacket to everyone!

gorgeous puffer wit a cheap zipper

I lllove the shape, the warmth, the quality of this coat !! Only if the zipper was as nice .. it takes me some effort and extreme patience to zip it up

Lightweight and super-warm winter coat!

My size is 167cm and I wear a size EU 40 with 80E bra size. I ordered a Medium size of this coat. First things first: the seller shipped the coat the same day, in fact just a few hours after I placed my order. It arrived 3 days earlier than Amazon had estimated. NICE JOB!!! The coat is quite a loose fit on me which is great as it leaves room for additional layers of clothing. It doesn't look as baggy on me as on the fotos, which is a real plus, although it definitely doesn't give you a proper waistline if that's what you're looking for. I tested the coat this morning. It was -1°C outside. I wore a spaghetti shirt of thin cotton and on top a long sleeved but thin cotton shirt and then the coat. I spent around 20 minutes outside and my hands were still warm when I got in. I could have felt more snug and cozy, but I was never near feeling cold at all. I assume that if I added a layer of wool (a pullover of lamb's wool) to my mix, the coat would keep me warm until -10°C. The coat is really, really light, which is enormously practical when you're traveling or sitting down with it in a car! It can be folded into a really tiny package to fit into any travel bag as well. At my height, it reaches a little below my knee, so everything above the knee, where the zip starts, is cozy and warm. If you're looking for a fashionable, lightweight coat that keeps you snug and warm, this is definitely an option. One downturn that I didn't reflect in my 5-star-rating is that the color is not as "olive green" as it appears on the foto. It is definitely a few shades darker, but can still be distinguished from anthrazite grey or black or brown shades.

Warm cozy winter coat

Fits TTS, I'm 5'7 128lbs. I can't wear a sweater under and there's still plenty of room. I like that it's really warm , fluffy and cozy but not heavy. The zip is a little inconvenient, un-easy to zip up, but it still seems sturdy enough.

Excellent quality

Excellent quality coat, really really great! Super light, puffy and I believe warm for winter. The only one reason why I choose to send it back was the color. The color was more grey than green and I definately wanted green coat. So that was a bummer, but other than that coat is really great. I recommend it.
