Beautiful minimalistic watch. Rose gold color is great

Bought as a gift. Like all skagen watches, they have minimalist mastered to a craft. Beautiful watch face, perfect size, easy watch band, and great color. The rose gold color is mesmerizing yet still understated. Wish skagen made automatic movement watches but still a beautiful quartz watch for the price.

Large-face watch with simple lines

I love Skagen watches, including this one. It has a modern extra large face and is easy to read. Minimal design elements here, just a nice clean look. I got the rose gold, which is my preferred jewelry color -- note that it is a classic rose gold color, and not the pinker shade that has become more common. I have a metal allergy, which ironically means I tend to need metal wristbands. Because nickel is commonly used to tan leather (though you can find vegetable-tanned leather if you look). This band does not irritate my skin. Well, the mesh is a little coarse, but not problematic. If you haven't had a watchband like this before, google up the Skagen site to learn how to adjust the length of the band. I have a very large wrist (7+ inches), and this fit perfectly out of the box, though it's almost at its full length. It can be made much shorter by moving the clasp, and you need a tiny flathead screwdriver to do that. The clasp is extra secure, where you hook it and then an extra clasp comes over the top as well. Fiddly at first, but you get used it it, and it does seem to be super secure. Make sure you notice that the watch face and the clasp at both ends have protective plastic on them when you receive the watch, to prevent scratching. A downside is that I expect the rose gold coloring to wear off over time, as it has on any other stainless rose-gold colored jewelry I've tried. I don't fully understand why the metal itself can't be colored, but I guess it can't, so it's a coating. Irrelevant to me, but mine came in a white Skagen box, not the blue that another reviewer mentioned.

Nice Minimalist Watch

I really like the looks of this basic, minimalist watch. It is perfect for those times when "less is more." I especially love that all 12 numbers are present on the face and they are not Roman numerals or placeholders. The band is somewhat small. I have very small wrists and there really isn't too much slack. If you have large wrists, this band might not fit you. The packaging is very basic. My Skagen smartwatches came in boxes that are nice for storage. This one is just a plain cardboard box.

Beautiful watch

This is my third Skagen watch and I love how this brand is accurate and long-lasting. The SKW2918 is a women's watch with a standard band size and buckle clasp. It has a 36mm case, pretty close to what you see in many other women's watches. The band is rose gold, the dial is white. The watch looks elegant but is also minimalistic. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality and the appearance of this watch.

Beautiful and minimalistic!

This is a gorgeous watch with a very minimalistic look which I love. You can dress it up or down and the rose gold matches almost everything. As far as comfort and fit goes, I feel like it fits well on my smaller wrist and is fairly comfortable. I don’t grab for this daily, but I do grab for it often and when I do wear it, I get a lot of compliments. I really, really love the rose gold color! Highly recommend. Great value with high quality.

Classy watch makes a nice gift

I’m a big fan of Skagen watches and I have several, but I didn’t have a rose gold, so I was happy to get this one. This is a high quality watch that runs perfectly. I love the mesh band and it’s a comfortable fit on my small wrist. The classic minimalist design looks great for dressy or casual days. It comes in a nice box for gift giving.
