Zipper needs improvement
This costume fits true to size. I ordered a size larger than my normal because most costumes tend to run on the small size but not this one. Luckily the strings on the bodice allowed for tightening to make a better fit. It does need an underskirt to achieve the poofed out appearance as the picture shows. I will say that the only problem I had was with the zipper. It kept coming down so I had to safety pin it to keep it up. Overall I was really pleased with my Alice costume and it was a hit with the kids at the school Halloween parade.

Perfect and fun
The material is slightly thin, but see through. Based off other comments I did end up sewing on a little clasp for where the dress zips up. When I first tried it on there were a few tears, I thought the dress would be too fragile to even wear, but after sewing up the few tears it was perfect. The cuff is very snug, so don't try pulling up by the shoulder part, hold on to the black ribbon/cuff to pull it up. I'm 5'5", weigh 148 lb. Bust is 35", waist is 31" and hips 37". I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly! I did also purchase a tutu (or others call a petticoat) to go under the outfit. I definitely recommend to purchase the under skirt to really make the costume pop! I was hesitant based on others reviews with this costume but honestly I'm so happy with it. I went to 2 different stores and looked at so many other costumes to order off Amazon and I'm super happy I decided to go with this one. Even though it did tear in a few spots I still give this an overall 5 starts because of how awesome it looks!

False advertising, don't show the stockings, if you're not sending them
Terrible misleading advertising for the Alice in Wonderland costume. Disappointment when you're expecting what you see in the picture to arrive. The stockings are not included. Not fun when you're having a party and you have to reorder the stockings. Absolutely Stupid !! Bought the Mad Hatter costume from the same vendor and everything in the picture was sent. Not with the women's costume. Hey, I've got an idea. Simply increase the overall cost of the costume to include the stockings which ARE shown. The customer can make the choice as to whether to buy it or not, due to the added cost, but at least they won't be disappointed when it arrives. Just a little thought.

GREAT costume!
love it. I'm a big girl and nothing ever seems to fit or look right on me. I was so happy when I tried this dress on. I didn't even have to unzip it... it slid right on and fit everywhere it was supposed to. the only thing is the black strap slides off my shoulder every time I move. ill have to look for skin friendly double sided tape for it, I guess. I also got the black tulle petticoat (also from Leg Avenue) to go underneath. it's all good! can't wait for my Halloween party!!

Sexy, but modest
This costume was the perfect balance between sexy and cute but not streetwalker/hooker attire. It's a hard one to balance with Halloween costumes these days. Either it is just a costume and not much cute going on, or it's something I wouldn't wear outside my bedroom. This paired with the tights and the petticoat was perfect. I can wear it around my kids without feeling uncomfortable, yet it's a bit edgy with the one sleeved style. Loved it!

Cutest Costume Ever With Dome Caveats.
I am roughly about a size 14-16 and I purchased this costume in a 3X. However, the way that it’s made, I could not have gotten it any smaller Or it would have been too small in the bust. So, it’s slightly larger than I wanted it to be, but a safety pin works wonders. The zipper doesn’t stay up at the top, but again, safety pin. Unfortunately, my costume was shipped with a tiny tear in the neckline that I’ll have to mend. Very cute!

Looks and Fits Great
Looks great, fits great. Girlfriend loved it. Wore it a couple of times already (for conventions and for halloween). Though, do buy a petticoat for this.
