Sizing/bones

Not sure if steel boning is supposed to be this flexible? Also, I got the 6x, going off the measurements, and I should’ve went a size smaller. It’s already almost closed in the back, and I was hoping it would take longer to close it fully. Overall quality is pretty good, though! Much heavier than I expected when the package arrived, and the clasps haven’t broken or anything on me. The buckles look a LITTLE cheap, but it’s a fairly cheap price for a corset like this, so I’m not unhappy. Will be perfect for rendezvous. (Pioneer reenactment)
