Perfect size for my Papillon

The thickness is perfect for my 11 lbs Papillon. I don’t like a bulky collar on him and this one was perfect for us. I need a martingale for quick potty breaks since he gets a little crazy sometimes when he sees other dogs and has slipped his buckle collar before (he has a harness for long walks). This is the best quality martingale I have found for a toy dog. You can tell this collar was well made and will last.

The collar itself is of good quality. My wife isn't happy with the way tags hang from it and the fact that it doesn't have a clip for easy removal. She was told to get this kind of collar from our trainer but she didn't understand it's a slip on collar not one that you can snap on/off. For a dog with a big head and little neck it takes a while to get on/off when we go to the groomers. I feel it is true to description and is a great collar if you are looking for a slip on device. I have a Red Dingo collar like this on my pitty mix and love it. They make a solid product. Only giving 4 stars because it's not for everyone.

Great, but...

Great martingale. BEWARE though, it runs small! It does NOT take into account when the smaller loop is tight! 8-13in should be closer to 6-11in when pulled taught/tight. If your dog has a 12-13" neck, size up! If they pull, this won't tighten to 13in! Otherwise, really good. I have a couple others - like the reflective, cute bones.

Excellent safe collars

Our rescue shelter only uses Martindale collars. They are very safe when walking your dog and almoat impossible to come off of the dog if put on correctly. I needed this size for my mini doxie and she is very happy with it.

This does not open

You have to put it over your dogs head instead of a clasp one. I have re-ordered the clasp one to make it easier on and off for my dog.

Really happy with the thickness and size of this collar

Really happy with the thickness and size of this collar. I have a lot of trouble finding martingale collars for my male sheltie. The small sizes are too small to fit over his ruff, and the medium sizes are too thick and chunky. I love that Red Dingo produces many different sizes and thicknesses, the small-medium is perfect for a larger sheltie (my smaller sheltie has the small size). The stitching is good and the slip section is attached with two rectangular 'O' rings so it loosens again easily after it's pulled and doesn't get stuck in the fur. I'll definitely be buying more.

Red Dingo is the best quality.

My previous Red Dingo martingale collar lasted longer than my dog. So when I got a new dog, I searched for another Red Dingo. Hust as happy with this one. Really high quality, lovely color.

Just what I was looking for. Fit my Bichon perfectly

I was desperate after my rescued Bichon had slipped her other collars and I was trying to find a thinner martingale style collar that was under 14”. This wad PERFECT and also adorable & great price. I ordered a second one for a backup and another for my other dog! Highly recommend

Best martingale for puppies going to dog obedience.

Have used these in the past and the quality has not changed. Only disappointment was finding suppliers her in Australia.
