Excellent, High Quality

I searched for a long time for a hose timer that is not made in China. This unit is made in Italy, is good-looking and high quality, and functions beautifully. I've had it hooked up for about a month and a half, set to add 15 minutes worth of water to my pond every 24 hours. Set-up is so easy your 5-year-old could do it, and it works flawlessly. I don't even remember I have it until I note each day that the pond has once again been brought up to the appropriate level. Perfect for times that I am away from home. No need to ask a neighbor to turn on the hose, let it run for x amount of time, then go back and turn it off, and then worry that they forgot to turn it on and/or off. It's been one of my best outdoor investments.

Best in-hose timer imaginable

This is my 4th Claber water timer, and only the 2nd one I've had to replace after using these for over 6 years. Each new one of the same model I have purchased has been improved over the last model, while keeping the housing and connections the same. Today, I changed out my old timer with the new one in 10 minutes (not exaggerating!). I love it that the company keeps the same connections and connector pieces so that new upgraded models can easily be installed the same way, with the same types of fittings. While innovating, this company continues to keep the needs of their former customers in mind. This is a great company and a great product!

Reliable and sturdy

I have many of these for a large property. Well made, simple, reliable, sturdy, battery lasts all season or more. Small enough to fit several side by side on a distributor. Able to customize your watering due to the 2 dials. ONLY downsides are no battery life indicator and no delayed start......eg if you want watering to begin at 2am you actually have to go set it at 2am. But no other battery operated timer is as reliable.

Trouble free timer set it and forget it

Very nice sprinkler timer easy to set up there's no visible clocks or anything to go bad in the Sun. I have tried about every time timer they make throughout the years and this one seems like it's about the best I've ever tried I would definitely buy another one

Follow directions

Directions in the various languages should be kept together and not broken up: keep all English directions together and the same for the other languages.

Oveepriced O-ring and hard to find.

Primitive and single, but very well made. The O-rings lasted 2-3 years and at first I bought the expensive ones from Claber. Then I used my vernier caliper to measured one of them and ordered some that were 40 times cheaper. This should now bring the item up to 4.5 stars. I should point out that I own all models of the single hose connection type and O-ring purchases were killing me.

If you’re not good with programming a time this is great.

Very easy to set use. Only drawback is the on time sets when you put it on. You can not select a future time. It will go on the next day or days at the same time you first put it on.

As I said in the headline these are really easy to use and pretty hard to ruin. That being said these are pricey for your money.
