Good but not well insulated

All in all a good sleeping pad. Lightweight, durable, comfortable. Only negative is it does not do a good job keeping the cold from the ground from getting to you. Would be great in warmer climates. Don’t recommend for cold weather.

I am a heavy person and this was not a good fit.

I went camping this week and used this as a replaced for our bulk air mattresses. While initial tests at home seemed like that would support my weight (300lbs) and sleeping style. The result was a nights of restlessness. In short the nozzle popped open 2 times on the first night, after the second time (very sleepy at this point) I realized that needed to sleep away from the nozzle, since my movements were causing this to happen. Yet, even which swapping ends, the mattress still lost pressure after several hours. I am a big person, this was not sold as a solution for a big person, so it not a fault of the company, but I would not recommend this for big person either.

Not Worth the Material it's Made Of!

Received this item on December 15th. Used first time night of December 26th, indoors, in my home. Included inflatable pillow deflated in a matter of minutes (rendering it useless). The inflatable sleeping pad completely deflated within a couple of hours (rendering it useless as well). Thus, neither item is worth the material they're made of. I suppose the inflatable sleeping pad is sufficient as a "ground sheet" for a sleeping bag. Though that's not what I bought it for. I may keep it for that, and stick with a traditional "solid" type sleeping pad. As for the inflatable pillow, probably shred it and use it as fire starting tinder? Will see. Rather surprising because I own several versions of Cascade Mountain Tech's Trekking Poles and like all of them very much. Consider them to be one of the "Biggest Bang for the Buck" in Trekking Poles! I also own a couple of their Low-Profile Camp Chairs. Really good product as well. Thus my surprise at the ineffectivness of these inflatable items, though I've always questioned the usability/durability of pneumatic sleeping pads/pillows, especially out in the wilderness. IMO better off sticking with solid materials, even if more bulky and marginally heavier.

Very lightweight, compact, and works well for backpacking trips.

This pad worked excellent for me. Took it on a 3-day, 30-mile backpacking trip and I slept comfortably each night. I see other folks had problems with deflating throughout the night. I did not have any of these issues. Very comfortable and very lightweight. The material is very thin, but I think that is expected when looking for something lightweight. Only used this for two nights so far, but so far I would recommend this product.

GREAT pad design!!!

A couple of unique things that I’m LOVING, the pad and pillow come in their own separate bags, which by the way are very good quality...not that cheap stuff bag material... these look and feel like they will hold up to backpacking use. I have another pad that I won’t be using after using Cascade’s gear... the best part for me is how the air pockets are shaped! Most pads are tubular in support and this Cascade bag far exceeds those designs with its six sided almost honeycomb shape. Great design and I look forward to using this for years! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
