Check for strength of the cap magnet

The first one I ordered had a weak or misaligned magnet such that it would not hold the cap in place while drinking. The replacement worked fine. Do test the magnet strength when you receive! Other than that, this is a great update and replacement for the previous model Camelbak Chute that my kids have used as water bottles for school for years. We expect the new model to last for years as well, which is why we wanted to be sure that the cap magnet will hold.

Leaks. Second try both bottles leak after a while

This bottle worked great for a while but then it started to leak from the wider mouth seal. It’s the second camelbak I’ve had of the same type and they both began to leak after about a year. I’m trying to reduce using plastic bottles, of course, so it really defeats the purpose if the bottle leaks after just a year.

Rubber lining inside cap. Hope it won't turn moldy with black spots later.

Light magnetic but still able to hold the screw flap. Cheap only for this orange colour. Otherwise all good.

Very thin lid joint

The bottle looks good, the color was exact, as expected from Camelbak, but the lid joint it too feeble. I was sure it would break in a day. Had to return, sadly :(
