This company cannot be trusted.

I bought this product and used it without issue. I bought a second and third one and was told that it would be several weeks in delivery, even with my Prime account. Well, there was nothing to do but put up with the wait, even though our project would be delayed and we'd lose the "good weather" window. At least I'd get it complete before the new year... or so I thought. I just got an email from Amazon saying that the order was cancelled because our address couldn't be verified. We get deliveries from Amazon every day of the week, sometimes twice a day in split shipments. I went back to BUD industries listing again to re-order it and find that it's now out of stock and there is no knowledge of when it will be available again. "You might want to order this other product", I'm encouraged. No thank you. If you have an inventory based sales system, when a product is purchased, it diminishes the stock automatically. Amazon guarantees that this company has stock when they list their product. To be given a false reason for cancellation points to the inevitable conclusion that either Amazon or BUD industries is lying. I'm not happy. People buy something, send it. End of story.

Used this to house solar controller and lithium battery. Watertight and of good quality. Would use again for another project

Pleasantly surprised

I just finished mounting my EV charger in one of these. I was worried about cracking during drilling/torquing fasteners down, but it didn't feel remotely like that was going to be a problem. I mounted it to stucco using 1" plastic to space it away from the wall - so I didn't REALLY test the durability that much, but, it's holding a mains outlet and large, heavy charger, and feels super solid. I tested the weather seal by dumping it in a bath first - no leaks at all. Not regretting holding out for a metal box (well, not unless my charger overheats and everything melts, but that's not the fault of the box). Assuming this holds up, I expect to be ordering more for other outdoor electrical projects. More solidly made than I was expecting; well done.

Solid, cheap, and DRY!

Solid cheap enclosure. I've bought 2 of these now. 1 is outside completely exposed to the elements, and 1 is in a (wet and humid!) greenhouse. Both have kept equipment safe and dry.
