Wish they welded the corners!
Agree with the other reviews here - it's a decent case but I really wish they would've welded or secured the corners. If you don't have to mount any transformers or anything to the back then you might be fine, but I had to use aluminum braising to weld the corners together. Aside from that, I think they're well built enough for the price. For those looking for the lid (not included) here are the part numbers: Vented - c-14431 Solid - c-14441

Does not ship with a lid. Buyer beware.
Buyer beware, does not have a lid with it. The picture shows that, however a project prototyper's rack is useless without a lid. No burrs and everything seemed to fit well enough.

Poor workmanship
This is the 2nd one of these I've bought (second time shame on me)! I thought the first one was maybe a Quality Control mistake (who makes junk like this on purpose) - but the second one is the same (ordered months apart). The front panel edges are rough cut and sharp - so with a little sanding and filling you can make it safer and looking better. The chassis is just folded into position - no welds or screws to give it rigidity - I'm think'in the lid is supposed to be what holds the chassis together (flimsy). It doesn't come with a lid so add that to the cost (they have a choice of two - solid and vented for another $18 each). The price is High for what you get when you still have to do work to finish it (I welded the back corners together to make it more sturdy) - Just tired of the poor workmanship you get today - Companies don't seem to care about their reputation anymore. It's hard to find a rack mount chassis with a solid bottom this size so this maybe the best you can get - just something to ponder before you buy!

This is poor quality.
I wasn't expecting perfection, but this is pretty awful. The aluminum front panel is scratched up, I had to chose the least scratched surface to face the world. If this were $20 I could accept it as "you-get-what-you-pay-for", but at $60 it shouldn't look like something I found at a garage sale.
