Helps keep my planted tank clear

I use this addition to the sponge and bio beads that came with my aquael 500 powerfilter. Seems to work really well to keep my planted tank clean

Works amazingly well!

This stuff kept my aquarium crystal clear. I spoke to the company when I called them for advice on a anti-cynobacterial treatment (which I highly recommend the Chemiclean if you have some in your aquarium) and the guy on the other side was super friendly and very knowledgeable about all things to do with aquariums and spoke with me at length about what I needed to know before starting the regimen. He recommended that afterwards, I use these satchels and it's kept my water crystal clear. I think I need to retreat the water as I can see the black cynobacteria coming back so I will retreat and then add one of these satchels (they look like a large tea bag) and the water will go back to looking crystal clear. I've been running freshwater aquariums for years and I highly recommend this chemi-pure green to keep your water super clean!

Great for planted tanks!

I've been using the Chemi-Pure products for many years. I was a little skeptical using chemical filtration in my planted aquarium, but I've noticed a difference. My plants, fish, and shrimp are doing great. I just use 1 packet in my Fluval Spec V overflow, and it does the job.

Just as good as purigen for water clarity.

This makes my aquarium crystal clear. The small bags are perfect for nano aquariums. I also typically put 2 in the HOB filter in my 20 gallon. It rivals purigen.

Very Convenient and It really Works Right Away

It works great and you can really tell on your fresh water tank because you will see a huge difference in clarity and the disappearanced of your algae. Very convenient.

Great size for little filters

Chemi-Pure is an excellent product for keeping the aquarium clean. This nano size is perfect for fitting into smaller fiters. I squeezed it into a Fluval U2 just above the ceramic bio beads.
