The barstools are beautiful!!

I am extremely happy with our purchase of 4 barstools. They are well made, comfortable and sturdy. Would highly recommend them!!!! They added a lot of beauty to our kitchen. Well, it's now a few days since I gave such a glowing review of these bar stools. We purchased them on December 19, 2021. It is now January 11, 2022 and three of them have already broken (one had a cracked leg, 2 of them have had a screw fall out of the bottom of them. We are not afraid to sit on the remaining one due to safety concerns. These stools have barely been sat on since we purchased them so they are obviously defective. Have applied for a refund and am waiting for information of how to proceed. So disappointed!!!!!!!!!!

These are truly beautiful chairs

These are truly beautiful chairs. Assembly took a 20 to 30 minutes per chair but there was nothing complicated or difficult about the assembly. All the parts fit together nicely. My only complaints are the same voiced by other reviewers. The lattice seems very flimsy, and I have to warn users to pick up the chair by the sides and be careful of the lattice. My other complaint is that the upper part of the chair can catch on the chair leg when swiveling if the person in the chair is leaning back a little or not centered in the chair. Both these issues could be easily addressed with a little engineering and a little more production cost. I originally ordered 2 chairs and decided I wanted 4 chairs. I considered returning the first 2 chairs but ultimately decided for the limited use these chairs would get and for the great price that I would tolerate their imperfections and order 2 more chairs. So far, I am happy with the decision.

Great stool but be careful

This stool is great and the fit and finish looks fantastic. Please be aware that the screws provided for the legs of the stool may be too long for the leg. If you are tightening the screws to the legs and the screw beings to feel tight but there is still play in between the leg and the main base, STOP TIGHTENING. You will need to either pick up some more black washers to add to the screw inside the base or get shorter screws. It baffles me that this manufacture is still sending screws that are too long for the legs. 3 of the legs on my stool tightened without issue but the 4th leg needs a shorter screw in order for the leg to tighten snug to the base. Despite this flaw, the fit and finish, looks and quality of the stool makes up for this inconvenience. I would still recommend this stool to anyone as I have not been able to find a better stool for the price. I ordered one to make sure I like and have gone ahead to order three more. Hope this helps anyone considering this stool.

20 Minute Assembly? Unless you've done a few, don't count on it!

I'm sure once you assemble one or two of these they become "easy to assemble" as the product description points out. It didn't look too difficult, but not knowing which bolt, washer, or lock washer goes where it took considerable time to figure all that out. Detailed instructions would have been nice. The included instructions were basically useless. Also, during assembly two of the bolt studs mounted under the swivel plate stripped out, so I had to remove the stripped studs and install new specialty bolts with washers and nuts that I had to get at a local hardware store. Additionally, I either lost a washer or it came a washer short in the blister pack. Many manufacturers will put extra washers and screws for assemblies like this, but not this one. The assembly took far longer than expected. Once done, it turned out to be a nice stool - but the finish is much darker than I expected. It's a very dark cherry whereas the picture depicts more of a medium-dark mission oak color. A good quality stool overall, with solid swivel action in the chair, and it is an attractive piece of furniture. But knowing what I know now, I'm not sure I would purchase these again.

I love these stools

I love these stools, they are the perfect accent pieces for my room.They are very classy looking, comfortable and swivel easily. They are basically very well built and have nice attention to detail accents. The only thing I would change would be the criss/cross slats. Those are made of bamboo or something quite thin so you have to be very careful to pick these chairs up by the top which is a nice heavy wood...that is the one thing I don't like about these chairs. I don't know why the built the rest of the chair so strong and sturdy and then put flimsy slats in them. It was well packaged, no nicks or dents or painted scraped off and they were easy to assemble. Overall, I am very happy with them and would refer them to others.

I love my new bar stools! After I had first sen them online, I tried looking locally but couldn't find anything that came close. The contrast between the dark cherry wood and the black leather seat is really attractive. I found the instructions easy to follow, but at times I had some difficulty because the wood is so solid, the pieces were heavier than I had thought. That's a problem I happily accept. The overall quality of product materials and workmanship is excellent. Wonderful chair

Love these chairs -- we got them for our bar down in the basement and they look fantastic! The top of the bar is black granite with some brown flecks in it and these chairs match the granite perfectly. They are heavy and swivel, which is exactly what we wanted. We had bought some chairs from this company before for our island in the kitchen and loved them, which is why we went back to this company. The only thing is that the back of the chair where it is open is not real sturdy. Just don't pull them around from the open part, be sure and move the chair from the top part. These chairs are great and I would highly recommend them.

Broken wood

It was so frustrating to see a broken part under the seat frame! When it was assembled, it was beautiful! The broken part wasn't visible. But still I was disturbed with that chipped off wood...

SOLID BUILT COUNTER/CHAIR STOOL

Very solidly built, the assembly was very easy. Put the back rest on the seat before bolting it to the legs, save some time. Quality for the price is excellent. I would buy this stool/counter chair again. I am a fairly large man and it fits me nicely.
