Love the color finish

Love the color and style of these locks. We used them for a historic home renovation but I do wish that they were more substantial and sturdy!

Not as expected

I was disappointed to find that the finish on the locks did not match my reading of the profile photos: they were simply coated with an opaque black coating. This had flaked off or bubbled up in places - small, but clearly visible flaws. I have decided against installing the locks.

Ives by Schlage 07A10B Window Lock

I bought these for a newly remodeled kitchen. They are on white painted windows & they look grand. I am very very happy with my choice & this purchase. 7/2017 an added note: I have now had these window locks since Nov 2015. The locks continue to look good they do not have any damage or defects from use. The locks continue to do what they were meant to do. I would give them 5 stars again.

Looks good, but I'm questioning the durability since one of mine snapped while locking it.

Garbage. 1st of 9 snapped on install. Lacked 4 stars for the following reasons:

Gave it a star for low price. A far cry from 5 stars for the following reasons: - looks more of a black then a rubbed oil bronze. -feels very light... -I had nine windows to install... first window... snapped off the latch as I tried to close the window... not the strongest man in the world, but I used roughly 15% of my strength to latch... bummer. Honestly I was thinking the screws would give way before anything else did. My experience is: First time installing dash lock/latch, but I have remodeled my entire house... I bought sash lifts/pulls for the lower sash by IDH... Significantly higher quality. I was expecting schlage to be a decent quality... but it seems like a cast aluminum... snaps easily. I'm not a regular amazon shopper, so it's frustrating... tried to attach pictures, didn't work, sorry. Hopefully I can return them.
