What about washing glasses???
January 23, 2023... See the picture. Used an ordinary scrubber, a 3D printer, and an old attachment base to make my own glass washer. Also, cut out the rubber on/off button cover, making it much easier to use (but must keep the button area out of water). Purchased 2 times. Last purchased Nov 6, 2009. That says it all, doesn't it. First the on/off button wore out. Today it just stopped working. Back then, I was lucky enough to find two glass scrubber attachments. I'm still hoarding one of them. Hopefully this version fits prior attachments. Don't the people who make these things wash glasses when they are doing dishes?

This is a very effective tool for the low price.
I didn’t have high expectations, but this little tool exceeded what I’d hope for. I watched a YouTube video demonstrating the use of this Black & Decker tool along with lime away and it made a great recovery of a limey scummy bathtub. I immediately bought the tool in the lime away and went to work. What exceeded my day expectation was it took much less time to complete my task using this Black & Decker scrubber brush. So happy I made this purchase.

YOU are the Power Scrubber
OK so I have to eat my words about Black and Decker. I bought this thing and it is just OK. I tried scrubbing the bathtub with it with every cleaner known to me and it was OK. I can relate to what an earlier reviewer said about using your own elbow grease. Actually the only thing that made it work was LYSOL TOILET BOWL CLEANER WITH LIME AND RUST REMOVER. I cleaned one little area from a bar placed into the fiberglass inset tub wall, which had rusted a little. This little scrubber brush is white with scrum and already needs changing but didn't really clean the wall until the Lysol cleaner. Also, at the same time that I bought the scrubber, I bought the tub and tile scrubbers that I thought were for this scrubber because the add said they were frequently bought together. As it turns out, they were for a SCRUM BUSTER, a different animal. However, I stuck one on the scrubber and it worked as well as the little scrubber that came on it. There is a reason this is so cheap. I guess it would wash dishes but I have a dish washer for that. Use LYSOL or CLOROX TOILET BOWL CLEANER WITH LIME AND RUST REMOVER or CLR or cleansers to remove lime, minerals and rust. That's the real secret to cleaning the shower tub and walls because it's THICKER and sticks to walls long enough to clean. Now onto another bathroom with porcelain tub and tile walls. It was worth the money I paid for it to get me off my duff and scrub the bathrooms. After one day the scrubbing pad on the machine is literally coming apart and needs replacing but the machine is still ticking on the original batteries. You get what you pay for.

Perfect for the kitchen and the tub
I have used the Black & Decker Scum buster for years. I like these little power scrubbers better because: 1. It's smaller and more portable than the Scum buster. 2. It performs the same as the Scum buster, so if I can get the same cleaning power in a small handheld device, I will pick that anytime. 3. The Scum buster uses those proprietary Ni-Cad cylindrical batteries. Those are a specialized battery that you have to buy at Sears or the hardware store and they are expensive. This power scrubber uses four AA batteries. We all have those around the house. Moreover, I use Sanyo eneloop rechargeable batteries which means I am never out of power. 4. What I really like is that this power scrubber is small, light and easy to use. You don't get tired using it. The huge Scum Buster eventually gets tiresome to use and it's awkward to handle. 5. B & D designed the Power Scrubber to spin fast and powerful enough to really scrub things, like pots and pans, tile, etc. But it does not spin so fast to where it would shoot water, cleanser, or whatever all over the place. It's speed is perfect for keeping the cleaning material in the pad and on the surface you are scrubbing. 6. This is perfect for its intended uses, scrubbing the sink, things in the sink and the shower/tub. I even used it on my tires! 7. Bonus Tip: I find it works quite well when applying medium pressure to the scrubber. It's powerful enough that when applying pressure it does not stall, it simply scrubs harder, which is what I want in a device like this. 8. And I like that it can stay submerged up to ten minutes (per the owner's manual). That means you can leave it in the sink with the water running without worrying about it shorting out. Bonus Tip: In fact, the owner's manual says that if water does get into the battery compartment you only have to stop using it and let it dry out over night. How cool is that, not having to worry about water damaging the unit. All in all a great device. It has saved me a lot of work in the kitchen.
