Functional, easy to assemble, but on the short side.

Ordered this as a flexible seating option for my 2nd grade classroom, but I think it’s going to be too short for my students. It’s sized more for preschool, though the desktop and inside are roomy enough for a typical set of school supplies and a few notebooks. I’m sure it would be useful for kids’ bedrooms or occasional use. I don’t think it would be sturdy enough for everyday use in my classroom, even if it were large enough. Very simple and quick to assemble, though.

Perfect little desk for our toddler.

This desk is absolutely adorable! It’s cute enough and basic enough to be out in the common areas of the house and not look like a blaring bright kids item. The hardware are good quality. It’s easy enough to construct. It’s sturdy and durable. My daughter absolutely loves it. Wish it came with a chair that matched. Would definitely recommend and would order again.

Great for a kids desk

We got this for my 6yr old who uses it for school work/play. He loves it, as do we. It’s super sturdy. It was super easy to put together and he loves how well it opens and the storage it has inside it. One thing I really enjoyed was that the packaging was so great. The foam pieces, that usually bust into a million pieces once pulled out, were all wrapped in plastic and could not be broken. It was packaged so well, definitely wish others packaged like this one does. I would definitely recommend this to others looking for a desk. It’s our favorite.

Nice little desk.

I ordered this for my toddler. He uses it for drawing and reading. It is the perfect height for him. The drawer has a lift too with a compartment inside to store supplies. The desk is primarily made of wood with a few of the parts being metal. The wood is shaped and sanded smooth. No rough or sharp spots. Some assembly was required but with the simple and easy to follow instructions it was done in no time.

Little bit shorter than anticipated but practical and easy to assemble

My daughter helped me assemble this and it was nice that it all came together in one box with the main top piece and then the legs and bolts to attach (along with an allen key wrench). The paint on it was easily scratched, I couldn't tell if it was me when I was putting it together or if it came that way initially. And it was a bit shorter than I figured, so make sure to take a look at measurements but will have to find a lower chair or lower sitting stool for child to work on this. The lift-top is nice in that it will stay up once lifted, it has a mechanism that will keep the top propped up so it doesn't have to be held up. This is really nice, particularly with the kids getting stuff in and out of it and is a very nice feature for such an affordable desk.

Good Desk for Preschooler

This is a small white desk by Amazon Basics. The quality is good as expected. It has a sizable compartment inside for the student to store things in. The size should work well for my little one when she is in preschool and kindergarten. We plan to use it as part of our homeschool and I think it will work well for that!

Good for small spaces

This went together easy enough. I got it for a small space in a hallway by my kids room. Will make a nice shared space for a small printer. Good value and a simple white.
