Terrific Product for Guys

As a guy I absolutely love this product. It gets the job done quickly and without a lot of fuss or muss. Although I have tried all of Billy Jealousy men’s hair product, it is *this* one that I prefer since it provides just the right amount of “hold” without making your hair look like it has “product” on it. When used properly, you cannot tell that any product is being used. I prefer a “dry look” and this gets the job done. My only minor complaint is that there is a slight/faint scent to it. It’s not objectionable at all… as a guy, I just would have preferred it if there were no scent whatsoever.

A new favorite!

This product was a fantastic surprise. I had tried the molding cream by Billy Jealousy, and had found it somewhat lacking for what I had wanted at the moment. I was initially between these 2 products, and decided to revisit this one (and boy am I glad I did). This cream is maybe the easiest thing I've ever applied. Simply running this through damp hair (I like to mist with some leave-in conditioner beforehand) creates a wonderfully sleek appearance with virtually no tug. The shine is subtle, despite what the label says (which is fine by me). The hold is excellent, and really works well with my fine, wavy hair. Finally, the scent is a pleasant clean aroma that is a dead ringer for Irish Spring. Really a extraordinary performer that I look forward to purchasing again!

High Quality Hair Cream. Great, Classic Lavender Fragrance

I've used this product for over 10 years since Esquire picked it as the best hair cream on the market. I have pretty straight hair and it can get greasy if I'm not careful. I typically wash my hair every day and use conditioner. After towel drying i use a dap on the end of my finger tip, spread onto my fingers and run thru my hair. Gives mild hold and mild sheen. After the Ruckus and my hair is fully dry I muss is up, add in a touch of Pete and Pedro putty, and hit the bricks. Throughout the day, if I run my hands thru my hair, it goes back into place just like I styled it from moment go. I'm a lifer with this product

One of the better styling products I've tried

Skeptically, I was first introduced to this at The Grooming Lounge, where the stylist used it in my hair. I bought some so I could maintain the fashion in which she cut my hair. What I like about it: -doesn't get flaky so doesn't create white stuff making it look like you have dandruff -holds pretty much all day long -can be used on wet hair to maintain a "sheeny" look, dried and then applied to hold hair in place, or applied when wet and then dried for "poofier" styling purposes...very versatile -doesn't have any kind of odor I can notice (but I'm not real scent sensitive, so unless it was really bad to normal people I probably wouldn't notice) I've also used Crew, which I was never really a fan of...and Cibu Sticky Rice which used to be my go-to before this (smells really good and works well, not quite as well as this Billy Jealousy and is a thicker product)

Professional looking shine and hold

I have been using this forming cream for about 6 months now. This is, by far, the best forming cream I have ever used. It is easy to work through the hair, and leaves a nice sheen and good hold that lasts through the day--even in the wind. It has great fresh scent that is not overpowering (masculine of course), and is not the least greasy or goopy. You can apply to wet hair for a shinier "wet" look. But once dried, it is very easy to comb through for a "dry hair" look with a nice sheen. Washes out very easy. I use the Billy Jealousy Fuzzy Logic and Cashmere coat--best shampoos I've used. Great product all round

Light forming creme for a perfect flo

Very light consistency and does it’s job without feeling greasy or heavy with a fresh scent. First time customer but will be my go to now.

You don't get what you pay for

I don't write many reviews but had to in this case cause I seriously don't trust the reviews my purchase was based on. Ok here goes. I've tried literally hundreds of different hair control products and that's no joke. There are several issues with this product. I have fine hair do it's easy to control. This product is described as high hold high shine. It actually has zero hold and zero shine. I wear my hair simply combed back. This is one of the few products I've ever used that wouldn't keep my hair back. After an hour or was sticking straight up in the air. I bought a product at the discount store for 3.99 that was far superior. Serving problem is the consistency. It's super fluffy. It's more whipped than a thick cream. Even with the large amount I used it didn't hold my hair. Usually a dab will do with most products. This was a fat finger scoop and still no hold. I would use the whole jar in 15 applications. I feel that consistency is by design so your buying more product more often. No real distinct smell to it. Smells like whatever chemicals they used to make it and that's about it. Pretty much anything works in my hair. This is one of the few products that didn't. Really disappointed. Especially for the price.

Poor for price and 'award'

I have thick, sort of course hair that is between wavy and curly (short sides medium/short length on top). I am looking for something that gives a little shine, but has quite a strong hold. This product doesn't seem to dry up in my hair, even after rubbing it into my hair alot or touching my hair throughout the day - good! However, It gives practically no hold whatsoever, and is uselesss when applied to damp hair. I do use Hairbond Designer and that has served me quite well for what I'm looking for but often dries up in my hair when my hair is slightly longer. Overall this product is deffinately not worth the price, as the previous review says, you can get things that do the same for much cheaper. But, it doesnt seem to contain silicones which is good, and it doesn't dry up (sometimes appears a bit greasy though) , so make the decision. Is it worth the risk for your hair type?

Not a great hold

Bought this after doing a lot of research on hair wax, putty, clay etc. I'm a male with short/medium length straight hair which I usually have combed over with a fringe. I did not feel the hold of this product was good, especially when it rains. It drys out in my hair too quick and makes my hair fluffy. Back to using fructis surfers wax
