A bit thin

The socks do the job, but my husband stated they are a bit thin. Hopefully, they will last and not get holes in them really quick.

Finally! Cheap, white crew socks that don't make my feet sweat

My feet sweat a lot. There, I just admitted that in public for the first time. I wear cheap, white crew socks a lot and I change them several times throughout the day. A couple of years ago, all of the usual brands (Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, etc.) changed how they make socks. I guess they were trying to keep up with the Under Armours of the world and suddenly, everybody's socks were Quick Drying or Active Blend or whatever catchy descriptor they were using to disguise the lack of cotton yarns used in their socks. So called Quick Drying socks are anything but and I cannot wear them. Within an hour of wearing socks with a lot of polyester in them, my feet are absolutely swimming. All cotton socks are OK, but they lose their shape too quickly. What I need is a blend similar to the old school crew sock blend from just a few years ago. It took me three months of buying every brand of white crew socks Amazon carries but I found what I was looking for in these socks by No Nonsense. They're a little snug but they'll stretch out in time. If you're looking for socks similar to what Hanes or FTL were a couple of years ago, here they are.

Don't Use For Heavy Duty Work

This socks are super comfortable! Unfortunately, what I bought them for, isn't a great fit. I work in construction; this is not a heavy duty, thick sock. They shred pretty easily through the work I do (on the inside), so id you're looking for casual wear, this may be a suitable option.

these are very thin white socks. I prefer ones with more thickness for running.

Much too narrow!

These socks are supposed to be men's and they are so narrow that they can't be pulled on. I have other no nonsense socks and they are normal. Is No nonsense going bad like every other company nowadays???

Very Good

My current favorite athletic socks are the Gold Toe Cushioned Crew Socks. I walk a couple of miles every day for exercise and they really make a difference. But sometimes I don't have quite enough of them to get from one laundry day to the next. These make a more than acceptable fill-in for those days. They really are Crew size, I think, and stop below the calf as shown in the product photos.. I take a size US11W shoe and the 6-12 size of these No Nonsense fits fine. They do fit snugly, a little like compression socks which helps them stay up and not sag. Cushioning is excellent and much appreciated during a long walk. The upper part of the sock is like a mesh and the lower part is like a conventional cushioned athletic sock. They are 88% cotton and seem to breathe well. I've laundered them (machine wash cool, tumble dry medium) and I don't think they shrank at all. They show no other ill effects from the laundering process, no loose threads or other damage. Still as stretchy as when new. They are manufactured in the USA.

No Nonsense brand are great quality socks

I have purchased No Nonsense brand socks for a number of years. They are always comfortable and durable and they stay up! This pack of 12 No Nonsense men's cushion crew socks are no exception. Poor quality

I bought these socks for my man and they all fell apart after a few of washes in cold water with regular detergent. They must be fake, bc I bought my women's no nonsense socks at Rite Aide and they are lasting me forever! I really want my money back...

Exactly what I was looking for.

These socks are great. The old school fruit of the loom type. Thick enough that you can't see your toes from the top and a little thicker sole. Will purchase again.
