Super cute but arrived WET AND RUSTY?

I was really excited to receive this set for my baby, and it IS really cute and I plan on using it… after MULTIPLE runs through the washing machine. All three items were super wet and smelled overwhelmingly like a fake cherry medicine scent. Almost like they were washed with or sprayed with a strongly scented detergent before being packaged. They were so wet that the snaps on the bib were starting to corrode and the discoloration leeched onto the onesie. Really hoping the washing machine takes care of that. I mainly bought the set for the footie pajamas so if I have to toss the other two pieces I will. I’m really disappointed since I have multiple other Hudson Baby products and love them.

It’s adorable! I’d say the sleeper is a bit in the smaller size, it’s pretty tight on my daughter’s feet.

Super soft and beautiful! Wish I had read the reaf the reviews about major shrinkage after wash and dry. Washed in cold on gentle cycle and low heat but still shrunk a size.
