Nice doll twins 2-pack with 3 dogs!

Mattel "Barbie it Takes Two: Jayla & Jackson". They have the more petite tween Stacie bodies. Minimal articulation; just the necks, shoulders, and hip are jointed, which limits poseability. Lots of accessories, including three dogs! Fun set for a great price, I just wish that the dolls were more flexible. My sample arrived with the card bubble dented in and coming loose, twisting Jackson's head, but, he was okay.

A charming set

Other than the usual high Mattel quality, one piece had come loose inside the packaging and had to be reattached as I am an adult collector. The cello was rather bent and indented but this seemed to be more of a factory issue which was partially remedied. Also the card in the front was loose, obscuring the product. Shipping can affect the product. However, the set does invite opening and displaying, which is the original intention. Otherwise pleased. Personally signed for upon arrival by Fed-ex. Thank you.

Barbie's world diversified for age

These size and age characters (pre-teen or early teen) are relatively rare but add a lot to Barbie world, making it more multi-generational though there's already lots of choice in race and ethnicity as well as adult body shapes. Children can act out on a mini-scale what they see around them at least if they live in a large city. Would have preferred flocked rather than moulded hair on the boy.
